    This is an amazing debut album for Deradoorian. The amazing soundscapes and her amazing vocals really bring this album together. I cannot wait for another solo effort such as this.

    The songs are each densely packed musically, but so taught and unpredictable that it's clear that they are the vision of a single creative mind. Angel Deradoorian's mind is vibrant and open, and on The Expanding Flower Planet she's inviting you for a visit.

    Such immersive panoramas are the ultimate reward of a record that tries to take listeners to places they've never been. It doesn't always work, but that's the beauty of The Expanding Flower Planet—its songs are unconventional, enveloping and mesmerising.
