Vocais arrebatadores! Álbum que o mundo precisava ouvir depois do caos de 2020. Completamente diferente dos outros que ela produziu antes, ela sempre está a inovar.

Completely different project than before. changing the sounds and increasing the number of high notes is what makes this album just perfect.

Aurora's third album is completely wonderful. The songs are largely very different in pace and tone, but they all seemingly mesh together well. And, at the end of the day, the Norwegian songstress's incredible voice brings it all home. A fantastic album lyrically and sonically. A pleasure to listen to. Well done, Aurora!

It is the singer's best album for bringing a more diversified album in musical genres such as folk and Latin music in addition to the genres she is already used to following such as alternative pop, EDM, electropop and pop rock. The album also has a really cool theme and each song represents a mythological god from Greece. Expand

An amazing album, created by her with help from producers, but she always give its magic to their albums, that's something we can mark about Aurora, she works too hard.

Album has good meanings, good rhythms, to be honest she deserves more points in Critical Reviews.

This album is reminiscent of Greek mythology, which is quite overdone in pop music. But, I think this album does it justice with all of the ethereal vocals and instruments combined throughout the album's tracklist. But, I think this album does it justice with all of the ethereal vocals and instruments combined throughout the album's tracklist. From the sonically magical "Heathens", to the upbeat, out-of-your-chair "Cure For Me", to the slower, more sensual "A Dangerous Thing", this album screams variety and gives off Greek vibes aesthetically. But aside from that, the 1920s-inspired "Exist For Love" is a remarkable, trance-inducing ballad all about the love Aurora feels for her partner, and it is also one of the best songs I've personally ever heard. On the other side of things, there are a few aspects of this album that I didn't enjoy. My main issue was the ill vocal production of a few songs that got in the way of these songs ending up as favorites of mine."Everything Matters" and "A Temporary High" were tracks that I noticed the crumby, squeezing vocals present whenever Aurora projected, most notably in the choruses of each. This brings me to another problem I experienced, being the slight musical drought in the latter half of the album. Meh songs such as "Artemis", "A Temporary High", and "Blood In The Wine" kept me looking for more within listens. They also put other, more enjoyable tracks like "A Dangerous Thing" and "Exhale Inhale" in a bad light, being that they were involved in the mix of the more boring songs. The album ends on a positive note, though, with the floating ballad, "This Could Be A Dream" bleeding into the gentle closer, "A Little Place Called The Moon". Overall, the vibes and musicality of "The Gods We Can Touch" are unmatched, with a few rough patches in the technicalities of the mixing of certain tracks. Expand

Refreshing album, so wild and lovely, not as explorative as I expected to be, yet very diverse and pleasing to listen. Amazing lyrics and incredible vocals as always, but some songs felt very ordinary pop production-wise for an Aurora album.

If you listen to it generally, you won’t find the deep meaning of each song. Just do some research about this album if you really want to dive into it otherwise all of her songs will be strange and questionable. To be honest, outstanding songs writing and sonically Amazing !… She’s going on her on way to create better lives and messaged her beloved fans.

This is a fairly harmless album, with occasionally impressive songs albeit littered with "inspirations" taken almost directly from other artists, such as buzzcut season by Lorde as well as an odd interpolation of Carol of the bells in everything matters which is still the highlight of this album hitting very early on. Giving into the love in comparison is a little more hit or miss, with strangely worded lyrics as well as jarring vocals in the chorus. Heathens brings nothing new to the table, being essentially a poorly made buzzcut season fading into the back of this album bringing nothing new to the table
A dangerous thing is another highlight, with a strong chorus. This is fairly straightforward album with some fun listens and ideas but nothing specifically out of the ordinary

It’s an outstanding step on her career ladder, bringing never-heard AURORA materials and vibes. The most essential point is this track-by-track unique records holds a great lot of diversity, yet 15 songs are tied together to craft a wide whole picture of human beings, through her own Greek gods vision.

The Gods We Can Touch feels like a very round pop record, a little bit of everything for everyone, and it's been smartly complemented by great visuals (the video for "Cure for Me" is mesmerizing) and an impeccable production job by Magnus Skylstad, who doubles down as a drummer in her live performances, and multi-instrumentalist and producer Matias Tellez. Definitely a strong contender for one of the most interesting pop albums of the year.

These songs are her most heartfelt to date, reaching into the depths of her character. The influence of Björk is occasionally audible, but so are inflections from as far afield as Enya and composer Karl Jenkins. Yet Aurora is very much herself, one of the most exciting female singers around – and The Gods We Can’t Touch adds another set of strings to her generously filled bow.
