I love this record. It's even better than their debut and it manages to mix fantastic well-picked space related recordings with epic and much less bland instrumentals. If you like space and indie rock, get this. Now.

Awesome album...!!! Although they do not accept that they are the future of any scene, it seems that the Public Service Broadcasting has a large appetite and many ideas for the future.

One can easily imagine these instrumentals finding a happy home at the National Air & Space Museum.

There are very few metaphors for the limitlessness of human creativity and ingenuity as powerful as that provided by space, and now by Public Service Broadcasting.

The Race For Space has its mis-steps, but most importantly it shows that Public Service Broadcasting aren't a one-off novelty act, and that there's mileage in their approach.
