I love this album so much! After Speak Your Mind I had high hopes and it was definitely worth waiting for over 3 years.

This album is easily one of the best albums of 2021. Each song provides something so new yet authentic to Anne-Marie. The opening track 'x2', I could see going viral on TikTok and causing it to become a single because the lyrics are wry but genius, about reclaiming your narrative against those who did you wrong. Kiss My (Uh-Oh), is easily the song of the summer (even if Jesy is no longer in Little Mix - still waiting for that debut). Breathing is the best song on the album, because it sounds like a breath of fresh air. It's calming and therapeutic. Better Not Together is probably Anne-Marie's most thought provoking singles because it almost turns the break up song archetype on it's head where break ups can be mutual. Either way, this album solidifies Anne-Marie's position as a British Music Icon. Expand

Easily one of the best pop albuns of the year. Anne Marie have the perfect chemistry to bublegum pop songs that is so catchy and have a lot in common with her incredible personality. Love this albun and hope one day make in a concert of hers!

It’s a fun record and I really enjoyed some of the vocals presented by Anne-Marie, but just seems like a generic pop album. You know, something very important for me when I listen to an album is to see if the sound and production could last 10 years or even longer and still sound fresh. I don’t get that with this album and it’s simply disappointing, I feel like the production of this album won’t pass the test of time. Some hooks are catchy and it’s very consistent in its theme, but not a single song stands out. That’s all I’m saying. Expand

where is the exciting? collaborations just to save his career from failure, repetitive, predictable, boring, but disguises it as a "therapy" album

album is okay, it's not bad, but at the same time it's nothing special just a generic pop album. Thing i enjoyed the most when i was listening is Anne-Marie's vocals (her voice is beautiful), she actually sounds really good. Lyrics aren't bad too they just don't really appeal to me too much.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Easily one of the best albums of 2021 and probably the best pop album of this year. Her vocals are as beautiful as always. Anne-Marie proved again that she's an amazing and one of the best songwriters out there. The collabs showed again how good she sounds with other artists (the only one I don't like that much is "Way too long" but that's probably because it sounds more like Nathan Dawe's song rather than hers). I love how she can make a sad-lyric song a total banger (Better not together and Unlovable). X2 is a great revenge song, Don't Play is so catchy and even KSI sounds good on it. Kiss My (Uh Oh) with Little Mix is a summer-vibes song that makes you wanna dance. Who i Am is definitely not my favourite, I love the verses but the chorus could have been done different. Our Song with Niall is one of her best singles since 2018. Breathing is definitely my favourite song on the album - lyrics, melody, literally everything about this song is amazing! Unlovable is a tune I can imagine being played in the clubs. Beautiful has a similar vibe to Perfect to me which I love so much. Tell Your Girlfriend has a great lyrics and also I love that guitar beat. Better not together is a good one, though i think it might sound better if it was produced differently - more like slower, sad song. Therapy - the title track - is definitely in my top 3 from the album. The chorus is so catchy and basically everything about it is amazing! This album definitely hold Anne-Marie's position as one of the top British singers! Well done. Expand

The album is fun and full of bops, even though some parts may seem lackluster the message and morals of the songs still shines bright

I loved this album, it's perfect, for me it was simply the best of the year, it shows Anne's vocal potential much more than the other album.

Therapy is a well-balanced record that plays to Anne-Marie’s strengths, complete with glossy production and hooks to keep the avid pop fan humming.

The overall impression is of a super-slick exercise in generic, glossy, team-built, uber-commercial RnB-pop. Still, Anne-Marie has the kind of voice and presence that could make anybody’s day better.
