Grande álbum, gostei bastante, seguindo um pouco da linha do último álbum, um pouco mais pesado que o anterior e com excelentes singles.

Their best album to date! The production, the instrumentals and the vocals lead us to one the finest albums ever made. Paramore is history and will always be.

This album manages to sum up Paramore's discography and give a mature result, with a nostalgic sound that reminds us all of a few years before but at the same time, you feel the breeze of something fresh. Personally, I think it was worth every second of waiting for these 5 years because this album is simply the best. Hayley's solo career has undoubtedly helped her grow as a singer and lyricist, good for Paramore Expand

It's so Paramore, yet so new.

One of their best works so far, 'This is Why' is the comeback Paramore fans deserved.

Melhor trabalho da banda até aqui. O Paramore consegue encaixar, com perfeição, todas as suas sonoridades de épocas passadas em um álbum profundo, político e polido com maestria.

Definitely an acquired taste, this isn't the Paramore of before. While rumors said they would return to their roots that's not the case here, and this is way more an experimental indie rock album than a pop punk album. This is Why is probably Paramore's best project so far. "Your Turn" is incredibly well written and the best song on the album.

The album is a psychedelic post-punk pondering about confusion between feeling overwhelmed over weight of being alive & the issues surrounding you, from the most ordinary inside you to those enormous far away, and finally hopelessness around it. It’s about a ‘war’ far away, the one as it seems without your direct impact on, and then, another one in your own head. It’s about anxious calculation of self-preservation and taking actions & engaging with problems. Do I leave the house or hide inside it? It’s about the emotional cost of instilled hyper-awareness of your own shortcomings. What do I do with those? What if chaos is the easiest route, or the most captivating one? There is a rage & vengefulness, and apathy & resignation at the same time all over the album. It’s about trying to find the balance, but is it even possible once your awareness grows & mental issues accumulate? There is no answer. And that's what the album is about. Expand

Not sure why everyone is eating this album up. The singles were weak and cringey. The rest of the songs were bland and uninspired. Very disappointed, especially considering how much i loved "After Laughter."

Paramore doesn't need to show that they are one of the best bands ever, but they keep doing it and This Is Why is the proof.

All the lyrics express a feeling that was unanimous to the world for a while - for some people those feelings hold true and that's why Hayley Williams is a great songwriter. Unique in that it is hard to translate one's own feelings and she does it so well, as well

All the lyrics express a feeling that was unanimous to the world for a while - for some people those feelings hold true and that's why Hayley Williams is a great songwriter. Unique in that it is hard to translate one's own feelings and she does it so well, as well as making those lyrics explode through her voice - truly, the voice of a generation.

Taylor's guitar lines are insane, the riffs explode creativity on a majestic level, the guitar leads you through every song in the best way possible.

What about Zac and his drums? He was merciless, so talented that it is impossible not to feel those beats and want to take over the world.

Paramore delivered us the best album possible - an album that I had no idea I needed.

See you at the show in Brazil. I'll be that #1 fan.

Insane band making an insane record !! C'est comme ça falls a bit short to the rest of the tracklist. But as a collective, their instrumental and lyrical work has taken a HUGE step forward. Even when its just a 10 track album it fills you up real good

You get the feeling that Hayley Williams and the rest of Paramore are still looking more outwardly than inwardly — that the wisdom of age has left them wanting for more, and questioning all. And that’s a great look for Paramore.

Slight missteps do little to deter what is some of the band's most instantly likable tracks in their career, where they turn up one rave-up rocker after the next with wide-eyed fury. Having proven themselves time and time again, they've far outpaced those unwilling to grow up with them.

That dichotomy between the visceral and the lackadaisical defines This Is Why instead of its value as a snapshot of this decade's global chaos, and in that sense, this LP is neither their best nor their "most mature." Regardless, there's nothing to stop you from reveling in this album's own chaotic dynamics, seriousness and passiveness juxtaposed. It's a worthy if mildly disappointing addition to Paramore's canon.
