Definitely different from any of their other albums, but I like it. Not sure why it was given such a low score... "When You're Young" is my favorite song on the album as I can relate to it greatly. Would definitely recommend this record to my friends.

Undoubtedly a great album but missing the true 3 Doors Down signature riffs! I liked "When you are Young", "back to me" and "Round and round" but I would say this album is significantly softer than the usual - it's as if 3 Doors is trying to sound more mainstream which they should not

They played slick, heroic neo-grunge for the Clear Channel era, where all regions melted into one long, Nickelback impression. They're still clinging to that anthemic plod a decade later, like an eight year-old who can't bear to throw out a dead hamster.

If you already like 3 Doors Down (and plenty do), then Time of My Life will be another album worth listening to; if you're one of the people who liked "Kryptonite", it's probably not worth bothering.

Unfortunately, the lack of powerful hooks, either in the melodies or riffs, means that all that coloring is on a grayscale, keeping Time of My Life a muted black-and-white exercise in half-hearted soul-searching.
