Oct 8, 2017Me encanta Valeri y I Know I'll Never Leave, comienzo un poco genérico y aburrido, pero me engancho con Valerie de ahi no bajo su ritmo, hasta que cierra con I know i'll never leave, excelente.

KateBAug 26, 2006Quite good with good beats and a few great songs, but the lyrics are weak and some of the songs like "Somebody Watching Over Me" are very boring and conventional. They have definitely released the two best songs, and personally, I advise them to stop there.

JaharJun 29, 2006I love these guys' range. From pop to jazzy to dark ballads. Not real listener friendly but if you're patient, the songs will grow on you to a point you're singing them in the shower.

TomMay 12, 2006self-satisfied, lifeless cod-funk workouts from a pub band only notable for their sax player. the most grating aspect of this album is the self-pitying lyrics, delivered in a nasal whine that will make anyone with working ears want to hack them off, a la van gogh. rubbish.

Experimental it ain't, but this summer in a shiny flat box it is.
-
The second album is much easier on the ear than its unvarnished predecessor.

UncutThe boundary-trampling spirit that makes their music stretch out almost infinitely live remains barely tapped. What keeps The Zutons special is singer David McCabe's lyrics. [May 2006, p.108]
