    One of, if not the greatest album ever created, and there is little to no debate against that. Jazz and funk infused with Kendrick Lamar's rapping ability is by far the greatest combination I've ever heard in music. Truly perfect in nearly every way with thee perfect production and socially conscious lyrics. And the cherry on top is Mortal Man, an absolutely perfect song that ties up theOne of, if not the greatest album ever created, and there is little to no debate against that.     its fine. not as good as views but its fine, kendrick peaks at damn because it has more hits but this album has none other than alright, also drake is better

    this **** is a **** masterpiece good **** kendrick. its my favorite album of all time. this got some phenomenal tracks this a 10.

    In my opinion this album is perfect, what Kendrick does to jazz-rap is amazing and songs like alright, I, U, these walls, the blacker the berry and how much a dollar costs are perfect and timeless, me personally loves seeing alright and king Kunta live and this is one of my favourite albums

    K.Dots Magnum Opus and best album. This is certainly his 5-Mic Classic. The thematic continuity of the album and songs blended with a conscious message was much needed in this era of Hip-Hop Albums. And it was great to see it come from a West Coast Artist (My fav region). I liked GKMC but this took it to the next level. THe only donwside is I dont think Kendirck will ever make an albumK.Dots Magnum Opus and best album. This is certainly his 5-Mic Classic. The thematic continuity of the album and songs blended with a conscious message was much needed in this era of Hip-Hop Albums. And it was great to see it come from a West Coast Artist (My fav region). I liked GKMC but this took it to the next level.     It's awesome, any question about it, the thing is that if I had read it in 2015 it would be a 10, now it is a 9 because of the great projects he has done in these years with "DAMN." and "Mr. Morales."

    I love this album, in my opinion it's the greatest album of all time. The lyrics, the message and the jazz influence on the record makes it a timeless classic. I know it's only been out since 2015 but this will go down as a classic album. Love everything about it and I can rant about it for another hour, but in conclusion it's just great, go listen to it, the lyrics. Also if you don'tI love this album, in my opinion it's the greatest album of all time. The lyrics, the message and the jazz influence on the record makes it a timeless classic.     No es personalmente mi album favorito de Kendrick pero tengo que admitir que objetivamente es el mejor, claramente tiene un profundo mensaje final en Mortal Man y mensajes positivos en varias canciones, recomiendo escuchar el album en orden, y cuando lo termines, ir a algun canal de youtube que explique en profundidad las letras de las canciones, yo usé un canal llamado Shady TraduccionesNo es personalmente mi album favorito de Kendrick pero tengo que admitir que objetivamente es el mejor, claramente tiene un profundo mensaje final en Mortal Man y mensajes positivos en varias canciones, recomiendo escuchar el album en orden, y cuando lo termines, ir a algun canal de youtube que explique en profundidad las letras de las canciones, yo usé un canal llamado Shady Traducciones por si les sirve :)… Expand

First, let's start out with the instrumentation which is beautiful mixing trumpets with many other things(the literal definition of Hol' Up Let Em Cook") Now my very important part of the album is the wait, I don't like the wait.     Thank you so much to my friend who likes rap music for getting me into this album and Kendrick's music. I'm a punk rocker which is nowhere close to what this album sounds like, but trust me when I say this album is a 10. It sounds nothing like any other rap music I've heard, even the older 90s stuff. I won't even attempt to explain how good this is, all you need to do is listen to it.

    To Pimp A Butterfly is the perfect hip-hop album. It stands alone at the top of the mountain. No amount of words could describe its sound, nor could describe its lyrics, nor construction. This album transcends the genre, and makes a case to be unbeatable far into the future. Do yourself a favour- listen to this album. Then listen again. Then again, but backwards.
