Absolutely Ace's best album to date. His others would be 5's or 6's to me, while this is definitely a step up. When Ace is reflective like he is in a lot of this album is when he is at his best, but don't get me wrong, songs like "Bugatti" are certainly good songs for being "bangers". Favorite tracks are "Trials & Tribulations", "The Come Up", "Hope", "Pray For Me", and "Have Mercy". AceAbsolutely Ace's best album to date. Ace is most certainly generic and is, at the end of the day, a weird combination of seemingly every rapper to ever release an album, but he still does that successfully on this album. Expand

When every track is a banger WITH LYRICS, then you know that you're in for a treat. This is absolutely the 2nd best album from Cash Money records. So in my mind that's 3 points deducted. Expand

Most of this album is below average to simply decent but the few deep tracks and Ace Hood's clear talent made this an above-average hood rap album. ~ 7.4/10 ~ including deluxe edition tracks: 7.6/10

Best tracks: "Trials & Tribulations", "Another Statistic" & **** Da World"

Just like the other albums Ace Hood hasn't really done something extra. But this is just the best version of him. He has been able to tell us about he's life story thus far with all the challenges faced in the best way possible. As for the production, it's on point. But their seems not to be any diversity on this one. Same story, same beats, same flow. Afraid it may get boring eventually.

This is certainly Ace's best project to be released. Although he only really touches on 1 general type of rap (i.e. trap rap, hardcore rap) what he does do he does well. It is always nice to have an artist that can vary their style song after song, it is also something to be respected when an artist realizes that he/she is good at a specific style, then sticks to it. Ace touches on mainly shallow subject matters, with a few deeper lyrics on songs like "Trials and Tribulations". Overall, this was a very good effort from Ace, and I hope to see more of this in the future. Expand

While none of the songs are straight terrible (except "Bugatti") none leave me feeling like I'd want to leave the CD in my whip on a long trip--it would probably lull me to sleep and I'd crash.

Ace Hood came out of nowhere to deliver the most well rounded, engaging gangsta rap album on a major label in some time.

Crisp Florida bass beats from producers like DJ Khaled and Boi 1da and sharp guest spots from Lil Wayne and Future keep things rolling, but his big heart keeps it real.
