    they sound like a band that was influenced by sonic youth, hole, my bloody valentine, pixies, nirvana, smashing pumpkins, among other early alt rock pioneers. they're nowhere near as good as any of those bands in their best, but Milk Teeth is definitely better than the numerous bands in the 90s that were then influenced by, and who came out after the mainstream popularity of thethey sound like a band that was influenced by sonic youth, hole, my bloody valentine, pixies, nirvana, smashing pumpkins, among other early alt rock pioneers. they're nowhere near as good as any of those bands in their best, but Milk Teeth is definitely better than the numerous bands in the 90s that were then influenced by, and who came out after the mainstream popularity of the aforementioned alternative rock pioneers.

    Despite being extremely derivative of 90's alternative rock, Milk Teeth's Vile Child presents enough energy and well-written songs to be worth your time. If you are a sucker for that sound, as I am, there is a lot of enjoyment to be had with this record.

    Milk Teeth provides us a series of powerful, confident and sentimental songs. Vile Child must be one of the best albums of 2016. I look forward to their next step.
