    I think Louis is in the best moment of his life to leave for a solo album, after one direction, his sound is different, it reminds me of oasis and old bands. his sound is magnificent and the lyrics are not left behind. a typical album that I would listen to do everything while I listen, although singles like kill my mind and two of us don't like me so much, 2 of us shakes me emotionall...I think Louis is in the best moment of his life to leave for a solo album, after one direction, his sound is different, it reminds me of oasis and old bands. his sound is magnificent and the lyrics are not left behind. a typical album that I would listen to do everything while I listen, although singles like kill my mind and two of us don't like me so much, 2 of us shakes me emotionall... it's sincere and honest. The songs are amazing, very memorable. It was 4 years of wait, but a good wait. Of course, he can improve in his next album, but this for been the first it is very good.     The lyrics are so true and deep, really good to listen to them. In my opinion we clearly can see how much he grown from One Direction. His vocals are amazing, and the instruments really combined with his voice. The album should be nominated for a grammy! Perfect!

    The album has a perfect mixture of pop and an indie sound, resembling the band oasis. The song lyrics are very well written having an especially pop sound in the chorus.

    Creo que es una obra de arte, combinan muy bien la canciónes.
    Con Perfect Now te puedes sentir querida, llorar con Two of Us, bailar con Kill my Mind, etc. Louis hizo un grandioso trabajo y valió la pena tanta espera.

    the album's introduction, kill my mind, is a song that unfortunately doesn't get its due attention. she is mysterious, addictive, louis' vocals, as always, impeccable and with a rhythm and a composition very well done. the song is far from the best on the album, but it is very good.

    two of us is one of louis best songs, i would say, maybe the best in terms of composition. it has a story behind it, the music becomes truly impactful when you know the story, and you allow yourself to feel what Louis felt composing. she is absolutely fantastic.

    perfect now and don't let it break your heart are well made tracks with beautiful lyrics in their composition. they may get better value depending on the person.

    in particular, always you is probably the best on the album. with a nice rhythm, that sticks in your mind like gum, she presents an incredible composition with, again, the absurd vocals of louis.
    this is a lovely song, it tells about a beautiful and remarkable love. listening, you feel the love of louis, so much that you want it to be you in the place of your loved one.
    I am totally enchanted by a song.

    defenceless, fearless and only the brave are powerful tracks written by a * fearless * person, who put his feelings into words on paper and gave them a voice. listening to them, you feel everything you should feel. it's really incredible.

    Walls' is a very well done, delicate album, and that, if you listen carefully and allow yourself to feel all the sensations, well, you feel it. It's simple.

    it seems that louis tomlinson has broken all the walls that held him and is free to write sounds that make him proud and that it is possible to hear all his feelings.

    every song has a special thing, it goes from person to person, you may like it or not, but I loved it.

    Louis came since from One Direction composing magnificent songs, 'Walls' is further proof of that.

    Walls by Louis Tomlinson sincerely surprised me. I thought it would be the same ole cookie cutter music which is on Top 40 radio, today. However, after hearing Walls (the single), I realized this artist actually makes music which goes against the grain and not status quo. Tomlinson's focus on lyrics, the emotion, and the vulnerability in his story in every song is what music is missing.Walls by Louis Tomlinson sincerely surprised me. I thought it would be the same ole cookie cutter music which is on Top 40 radio, today. However, after hearing Walls (the single), I realized this artist actually makes music which goes against the grain and not status quo. Tomlinson's focus on lyrics, the emotion, and the vulnerability in his story in every song is what music is missing. Although there are moments where the artist digresses in sound and lyrics (Perfect Now, Always You), you still can't get the melody and words out of your head. The aforementioned songs, are the only ones I get pure pop vibes from.
    This album is unique. As the listener progresses through the album tracks, they can clearly identify the growth in Tomlinson's music and lyrics, and the outcome is a well written, foundation album that he can build on. If Kill My Mind, Fearless, Walls and Only the Brave is the direction Tomlinson is moving in for his sophomore album, I am here for it. I only see him getting better and better, and the 2nd album more focused on the sound he wants develop.
    Walls, in my opinion, has something for everyone, if you're a new, older fan, it brings back the 90's vibe, a la Green Day, Oasis and other alternative groups. It isn't perfect, but I would recommend this album to anyone who is looking for a feel good, inspirational, and honest lyrically based album. If your looking for outside the hum drum box of Top 40 radio, this is the album for you!    … Expand

    The album is just so good! The lyrics of songs like "Fearless", "defenceless" and "habit" are amazing, and you can see how good Louis is as a lyricist! Also the vocals are perfect. I wish the critics could give it better reviews, but wbk how is a trend being too critical to Louis Tomlinson, even when he's doing a good job.

No se cuales son las intenciones del cantautor con esas letras pero yo las sentí, sentí dolor, felicidad, emoción, decepción y entre otras emociones. En conclusión walls es para mi "un álbum genial"

    I will admit I used to be a 1D fan but swayed away in 2013. I've always thought Louis had the most recognizable and the most unique tone out of the bunch so this album clearly grabbed my attention. Walls is amazing, it makes you feel light and makes you reminisce of happy moments in your life. I would recommend this album if you want to feel close to someone you love/adore.     the album is great, louis makes me feel part of it and that's beautiful. I feel a special connection with "Two of Us" because I have gone through a family situation, it makes me feel that I am not alone. My favorite song is "Only the brave" is the one that lasts the least time but it made me feel many things, this album is only for the brave. Louis is brave. thanks x

    o álbum é perfeito o que eu podia esperar vindo do louis ne? a minha favorita des que saiu a versão em live é defenceless, mas o que falar do hino always you que foi tão aguardado pelos fãs perfeito! e walls com aquele clipe sensacional,two of us que emociona todos nós, em fim não vou falar de todas mas são todas incríveis recomendo muito!

    this album is a masterpiece, we've been waiting for 4 years to have it and it was worth it, very strong lyrics, a very cohesive album and it captures the essence of the artist

    After a 4 years of working on this album, this is exactly what we wanted. The Louis's voice fits perfectly with all the melodies and all the melodies had a good rhythm not too fast but not too slow that makes you want to sleep or bores you to the first two songs

    All the songs are a banger! There's not one bad song. Louis smashed it with his debut album. The melodies are so beautiful and clean, they go so well with his unique voice that was made for indie music. If you like those 90s/Oasis vibes I suggest you listen to Walls. Finally the lyrics...man, there are not words to describe how incredible they are. Congrats lad! Amazing album.

    Respecto a las letras es totalmente sorprendente como logra plasmar sentimientos de la manera adecuada. Tiene una gran calidad y no se muestra repetitivo en los significados. Tienes sonidos muy puros y simples que permiten disfrutar plenamente las canciones. Y el tipo tiene una voz increíble, logra transmitir sus emociones en la mayoría de sus notas .

    I think it's an excellent debut album. It expresses exactly what many of us can feel in a difficult time, from a loving failure, to the loss of an important person. His music also teaches us to be brave, and get ahead despite the "walls" that life puts us. Good lyrics and rhythm.

    I absolutely loved it, very enchanting real and raw album!! The sound in this album is something no one else is doing we should definitely bring back the pop rock punk rock sound back!!!! I can’t believe It’s his debut album and his music already is so good, the lyrics are amazing and thoughtful I just can’t wait to see what else Louis comes up with in the future.

    4 long years waiting for the debut album of Louis Tomlinson, and I dare to say that they were totally worth it. Walls is a tremendous work of art, just listen to how liberated it feels to be able to sing the way you like it. It represents a great process and growth both in your career and in yourself. I loved it.

    The depth, vulnerability and honesty I've heard in the lyrics of this album are of a calibre I haven't experiene in a long long time ! You can cleary see where he gets his inspiration from and also how original is the twist he puts into them. Hope people can start apretiating him more outside of what he used to be part of

    This album has so much truth and feeling. This is incredible, a mix of Indie and Pop, also sad and Happy. I think that Louis Tomlinson deserves this and Walls deserves #1 on the world charts! This boy impressd me, it's an excellent debut album, congrats.

    This is certainly the best album I have heard in a long time, Louis Tomlinson manages to bring an innovation in his songs and the feeling he wants to convey can be felt in each composition.

    Didn’t think a past 1D member would release an album like this. Looks like he is mixing up pop and oasis kind of vibe which i loved very much. Walls and Only The Brave won me over.

    This album is a masterpiece. All songs are very deep and full of emotions that tell a story behind the lyrics. The songs have a melody very enjoyable that makes you want to relax and lay down thinking about your life and your own feelings. This album is a incredible example of overcoming and faith.

    Amazing album. You can feel the emotion through the songs while he’s signing, going from love to sadness to hope. If I could pick a favourite it could be Fearless, Walls and Only The Brave, but overall is an incredible album in general.

    A very beautifully written album by Louis Tomlinson. The feelings in the lyrics, the vocals of his voice, the beautiful melodies & instruments... Just astonishing. Louis def out did himself with this one. I'm so happy with the results.

    His soft voice with the emotional lyrics makes the perfect album. The tribute for his mother is so heartbreaking, two of us, walls and kill my mind are my favorites

Every song is different from the other, musically and lyrically. Tomlinson's vocals touch a new level in songs like Defenceless and Always You. Two Of Us is an emotionally honest song while Only The Brave is bound to be an LGBTQ anthem!… Expand

    Try as he may, Tomlinson has not quite progressed from featured voice to solo artist. For all the major changes in his life, his music seems to be stuck in place. You can take the boy out of the boyband, but not the boyband out of the boy.

    Even if the songs on Walls aren't the most distinct or memorable, they come from a place of authenticity that's genuinely heartwarming and enjoyable. Like any other settled adult, he's perfectly content to stick to the reliable and Walls winds up being the most mature and natural of the ex-1D bunch.
