All of this works nicely, and reinforces the notion that at over twenty years into their career, Papa Roach are handling maturity pretty well.

This release isn't going to be for everyone (trading a harder sound for radio-rock seems to divide fans more often than not), especially with a band of 40-somethings attempting to make widely accessible rock tunes.

Papa Roach’s 10th album, then, is neither the unexpected triumph or dated nu-metal fail you might expect. There’s plenty of killer, but it’s held back by an equal amount of filler. [12 Jan 2019, p.53]

Papa Roach's not entirely convincing attempt to music in on the action. [Feb 2019, p.88]

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I really like it. Songs "The Ending" and "Renegade Music" open up this album and in my opinion both songs are the best ones from "Who Do You Trust?". Also I love a mix of different genres in a song "Elevate". The only negative thing I can say about this album is a song "Come Around", which is not that great compare to the rest of the album. Expand

Each album before had several hit songs, which are still popular, but this one is not memorable (except "Not the only one" and "Who do you trust" maybe). Very dull. Expand

This isn't for the masses, or a small audience, or any audience. This didn't work as hard rock, or metal. This sounded bad on radio. This isn't good for the fans. This is even worse as 40 somethings. This album has terrible tunes. Expand
