Despite being the worst album out of his amazing 8 album run of great albums, it's not anywhere near a bad album. The production is unique and still sounds nice despite the experimental style.

this album with truly groundbreaking because kanye experimented with new sounds. They have never been mixed together before. A perfect example of this is on site he had these incredibly offbeat 80s synth keyboards, and all of it mixed together perfectly a song like bound to who is completely different from any other son of Sam and it felt like it fit on an island like 808s & Heartbreak orthis album with truly groundbreaking because kanye experimented with new sounds. I’m giving this album an 8.8 out of 10. It’s truly change the way the music industry is today with rappers like. playboi carti or uzi. I think that Kanye forever changed the music industry with this one. Expand

In terms of experimental exploration and pursuit of the ultimate, it is worse than the previous "My Beautiful Dark Twisted", but in terms of the most underestimated part, "Yeezus" has no less points, and even the birth time of this work is too early, it is impossible to wait until it becomes popular, it is better to stay in the care of the circle of people who know how to appreciate/love it.

yeezus is actually one of the most experimental projects ever. Dont expect anything like any other hiphop album. its different and sonic. The songs here are superly creative and weirdly sounding on first listen.
    Tracks:
    1) On sight-funny lines, amazing sample and hardhitting production 2) Black Skinhead-very catchy and production is too good for words 3)I am a god-funny and godly 4)

Get into artistic and chaotic mind of any artist can be dificult in the first time, but as sson as you hear many more times you understand the ideas that builds the album. A great album with lyrics and sounds that inovates to take music in another direction. A Masterpiece.

Kanye West's sixth album Yeezus is some of his best work. New Slaves is easily one of the best rap songs of all time on one of the best rap albums of all time. Bound 2 is also an incredible rap song, and the Charlie Wilson feature absolutely makes this track.

my favorite Kanye album with the loud bass-hitting tracks like blood on the leaves, guilt trip, black skinhead, on sight and new slaves the album has a few corny lines but the whole album is a great way to put in perspective how grand Kanye's discography is

I can't lie - I did not enjoy this initially. It really grew on me eventually however, and I gotta say there's nothing really like this LP. I love it. My favorite songs are Black Skinhead, I Am A God, New Slaves, Hold My Liquor, I'm In It, Blood On The Leaves, Bound 2.

Not going to lie, this is a very different album than MBDTF and his past albums. If I were to rank his albums, this one might be toward the bottom. Other than the fact that these songs are weird, they are still pretty good in all. "Bound 2", "Black Skinhead"? They are all really good, but overall, there is no reason for me to rank this any higher than it is

A fantastic experimental noise album with some really nice breaks in between. The perfect album to introduce your weird dad to hip-hop with. While not an essential hip-hop record, you are surely missing out if you haven't heard it. It's a grower to be sure, but if you listen to it more than once you might grow to love it. We keep it 300 like the romans.

An album that feels ugly and raw, and that is what makes it beautiful. Ye puts (again) everything he's got in this work.

It's a true delight to see such a valuable artist recognized for his contribution to hip-hop & rap trying to reach new genres, to fuse several influences and craft something as gritty and powerful as this album is.

The production is top notch. How could it be any different considering the tremendous amount of amazing producers and artists involved in the creation of 'Yeezus' ? Daft

Daft Punk's presence is insane, they should have collaborate more often together. Add their level of mastery to those of Travis Scott, Arca and Hudson Mohawke (and by extension of TNGHT) and you'll get this raw and colourful album. Despite all these glorious names I enjoy how Kanye is the common denominator of his album: it seems like he made all the choices for himself and for this product to be delivered the way it is. He surely did not fail to step up.

Lyrics are okay. As always, some interesting and reflective bars from Ye, and obviously CyHi The Prynce should have helped him a lot on this side. But also very awkward and weird ones or even just dumb repetitive. Kid Cudi's vocals are okay, clearly not as strong as hiw own presence is. Assassin's parts are terrible, he totally denote with the rest of the record, he is just incomprehensible. Kanye's vocal performances let a lot to be desired on some almost unbearable parts.

Themes addressed are okay too: we start to know Kanye pretty well, and it seems impossible for him to craft any project without tackling issues as sex, money, racism or his mom. Here we obviously have all of those subjects. Clearly we can guess this album was another major step to Kanye's disproportionate narcissism and ego. Yet I have to bow down before the originality of the approach. Interesting experience.
