I don't know if I'M the one taking crazy pills, but this record is a marked downgrade from the band's previous efforts. Where earlier recordings had character and personality, this record sounds like the band has decidedly taken a chill pill. And not the good kind of chill pill that might suggest a maturity, but rather a boring, uninspired, and frankly half baked batch of songs thatI don't know if I'M the one taking crazy pills, but this record is a marked downgrade from the band's previous efforts. Where earlier recordings had character and personality, this record sounds like the band has decidedly taken a chill pill. And not the good kind of chill pill that might suggest a maturity, but rather a boring, uninspired, and frankly half baked batch of songs that sound incomplete and tuneless.

The song "Under You" is basically what Green Day has been doing for the last twenty years that nobody cares about. The song "Camera" is frustrating, as the lyrics interrupt what could otherwise be a decent track.
"Fighting in the Dark" is a monotone nothing keyboard track with equally nothing monotone vocals.
"Young Enough" is a contemporary christian/praise & worship song.
"Bleach" sounds like your nephew tinkering around on a casio keyboard in the basement on a rainy day with nothing else to do, until the song eventually gets a little better, but far from anything I could imagine anybody loving.
Usually the singles are the worst tracks, but here, Chatroom and Capacity are real highlights, with Eva's old convictions, both lyrically and musically coming out.
All in all, going from Guppy to Young Enough feels like that really funny, quirky, off-beat friend you grew up with suddenly was forced on pills and lost all lust for life. *sad*

Contender for AOTY. Its got pop bangers, slow jams and most importantly character

Charly Bliss' new album "Young Enough" takes conventional pop rock and dials it up to a ten. The result is a gorgeous and melodic sound that revitalizes an aging genre.

There's also a strong pop influence, an element that can interfere with Young Enough's otherwise snappy sequencing—both Capacity and Chatroom incorporate an electro-pop bounce that, though competent, feel more suited for an entirely new project. Still, Hendricks' love-stricken admissions never go unnoticed.

Young Enough is better than its predecessor in every way, and its predecessor is very good. Every song should be a gigantic sing-along single, each with its own level of catharsis. If more pop songs had Charly Bliss’s sense of craft, pop music would be in a much better place.

Circling around Eva’s sharp, twangy vocals, the band’s second album is a gargantuan step forward, and one packed full of iron-clad mantras.
