A wonderful album! A wonderful artist! Every album released, his talent and his legacy growing and most respected. This only tends to grow. Each person chooses his own Queen, Lady Gaga for me is the true queen of pop.

Eu super recomendo vocês a ouvirem o álbum.

Sonically interesting but too grandiose to stay grounded. Gaga aimed for the stars, achieved liftoff, and immedietly got stuck in a boring limbo above the clouds.

ARTPOP is an electronic and electropop album, that made Gaga a better artist. For me the best songs of ARTPOP are Applause, Dope and Mary Jane Holland. But the album does not have a feeling of good quality and it seems that Gaga made it in a hurry. It is great that it has 15 songs, but I heard a lot of filler material

Her ambition made her failed totally. Combining the word "pop" and "art" didn't mean the pop music with art. Remember, sometimes you want to skip too far, you will probably fall.

"Risking" may be the second name of this album warrior. An absurdly different sound, that anyone who listen, strange. Something "strange" that is so original in Lady Gaga's courage to bring art and music to the heart.

Artpop is probably the best album by Lady Gaga. A true exponent of electro pop that reflects in a very artistic way the Greek and Roman mythology with enjoyablely danceable sounds. Simply a masterpiece.

ARTPOP’s music is at least more three-dimensional. Modern EDM and ’80s synthpop are the dominant influences, meaning songs explode with rubbery keyboards, digital zaps, insistent beats, and manipulated vocals. “Applause” is equal parts Teutonic techno and Grace Jones; “Gypsy” starts with simple piano and blooms into a high-energy electro anthem; and “Sexxx Dreams” has a breathy synthpopARTPOP’s music is at least more three-dimensional. Still, Gaga’s weird streak comes through—the record also has raging electric guitars (the Adele-goes-wild “Manicure”), sparkly R&B electro (the R. Kelly-featuring “Do What U Want”) and Sun Ra quotes (“Venus”). EDM stalwarts Infected Mushroom even collaborate with Gaga on “Aura” for a hiccuping disco hopscotch. Expand

This is VERY disappointing effort coming from the woman who did The Fame and conquered the pop world. It feels like she recorded it in a few minutes by asking kindergarten pupils writing the lyrics. No art at all.

The entire concept for this is so pretentious that it looks embarassing. The entire record looks like discarded tracks from her "The Fame+Monster" CD. I would add that it has even pretentiousness on the album cover. Why waste so much art to make delibaretely stupid material? It has a few good songs that lacks originality and creativity. Gaga solidifies herself as a force to be reckoned with on Artpop. She is undeniably one of the biggest pop divas of the 21st century.

Only 3 memorable songs. This would not be good even in 2013 when it was released. You can dance to it, and I love Gaga, but this album is not it.

One of Gaga's best pieces of work and Artpop doesn't get the recognition that she deserves. Start to finish this album is a piece of art there really isn't a lot to not like besides just little things. But Artpop deserved better.

She should never have released such a bad recording. The songs are poorly produced, as lyrics do not make sense, there is not a minimum of cohesion between the tracks. Bizarre.

WEll, besides the fact that this album is highly appreciated by fans, this is a mess sometimes. Of course i enjoy listening this hard af beats, but this whole era is a mess. Maybe it came out too early and people werent ready for that but.. we get what we get. The concept is missing form song to song.

Same old Gaga gimmicks with the same old sounds. Great for just dance kids I guess. But she needs to stop with the antics and go in the direction of a star is born. Stripped down lovely vocals instead of this mess. My least favorite album of hers, and that's tough to say because chromatica is aweful, and ari saves it with rain on me

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Expand

Coherently channeling R&B, techno, disco and rock music as a pop artist while discussing sex, drugs, lust, God, fame and creativity, Lady Gaga has offered fans her most sonically and lyrically diverse album to date.

The melodies here are fine, they do a job, but nothing backs up Gag's Warholian rhetoric or scales the barmy heights of Bad Romance. [Jan 2014, p.116]

While it’s stronger than the messy ‘Born This Way’, Artpop feels little more culture-quaking than a good collection of fun, silly, well-crafted pop songs.

This is two albums in a row now that were basically a bit boring, and she needs to sort it out soonish please.
