Mar 17, 2023NO GOOD VOCALS. She is apparently “the music industry” but the music industry needs vocals and good lyrics meanwhile this entire album was generic, basic, lazy, and boring. Notice how she rarely collabs? she’s a horrible artist on songs. She can’t sing, can’t dance, can’t perform, and is the most basic artist I’ve seen. TRASH.

May 21, 2023Tutorial on "how to make a pop album full of bop that age really well with time". Its not her most out of the box album but she is really good on doing songs like this, maybe the best one.

Dec 1, 2014With 1989 she has succeeded in leveraging the most cordial and familiar of pop music outpourings to something that feels like a statement, a work of note and the sinew of some kind of emotional connective tissue–binding tastemakers, rock critics, guys I work with and my 12 year old cousin; irrevocably and unexpectedly.

Nov 6, 2014What stands out more than the production is how consistently solid the album is, and how effective the lyrics and songwriting.

Nov 6, 20141989 is full of cliches, but the truth is that we wouldn't expect them to not be present anyway.
