This album is phenomenal! Adele proved us that the hype for this album is well deserved. The lyrics, her vocals, it's all amazing. However, Adele might need reinvention for her next album before she starts to bore people. And I am also hoping for more depth in her music. She needs to get over her ex and start composing songs about other things.

Adele is back and better then ever with this iconic ballad-after-ballad album. Critics are saying this sounds like her old work but in a negative way for some reason. Adele's voice is captivating as ever, but the lyrical content is lacking too much to simply be ignored. Not quite reaching the emotional yet upbeat yet deep content that her album 21 had, I think that she settled a bit. She has an incredible voice, she could've done more.

A horrible mess of an album. How does a music artist get away with releasing an album exactly the same as her last album? Strategic releasing and depressing music in winter, how tactical and pitiful can you get.

Her vocals are awful, this album sounds like whale music. No matter how hard her PR team works with the media to spin 100 positive stories the album is a awful.

What utter garbage! I could make better music slapping her in the face with my dick. Why does this genre exist? I know why, just to make us suffer. My advice, skip it.

This album certainly doesn't live up to the standard of her first two albums. I guess the writers block really hit her hard as this album comes across as very safe and uninspired. 'Hello' is a very good song and there are a few other solid ones as well. but overall, this isn't a particularly memorable album.

In contrast what most people say, 25 is far away from what 21 was. After almost four years of absence, I was really expectant with Adele's third album. 21 changed my life and thanks to that record, I became a lover of soul music. I was so obsessed with that amazing golden soulful voice. But with a huge sadness in my heart, this is not what I was waiting for and I can guess why: Adele's lack of inspiration. 21 was a fruit of a an enormous break-up relationship and most of us could feel it in Adele's song lyrics. It seems that no song could overcome the inmortal "Someone Like You" and the raving amazing bluesy tone of "Rolling In The Deep". But the most regrettable thing is that Adele hid her soul in 25. Southern blues influence is not anymore. I can't even imagine that Adele's inspirations were Madonna and Taylor Swift for 25. Whaaat was that??. In conclusion, 25 is a simple forced-to-make pop record. Expand

Adele Heads In The Right Direction With "25":

Although incredibly successful, I did not care much for 21, but understood it's hype entirely. With 25, Adele showcases more of what she's about and more audible variety. "Hello" is mistaken for a song about an ex-lover whereas it's actually a song to her younger self. 25 is mature, yet fun and a highlight in 2015 pop music. BEST: Hello,

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Saddening. I would put the album a 5 or 6 max, because the album was not good at all, but I put 1 because of a simple fact : She left from music for 4 years and let everyone expecting SO much of her return, and pretty much the success in her return was the consequence of she being long for a long time, but it was pure and plain overrating. The album does not deservers the sells it is making, the last album does deserves all these records, this album is only too overrated.

So, she has ALOT of time to make an epic album, still she wasnt able to deliver one, thats why I put 0, because in those 4-5 years she could have made many, many more songs and better songs. There are artists out there who make albums every year not because they are all money hungry, but because their true passion is music, and thats ALL they want to do 24 hours a day 7 days a week, thats why they are able to deliver so many songs in a year and VERY good ones. If someone has music as a passion if someone truly loves music, and has the voice to make their music come true, not sure why someone has to waste 4-5 years to deliver 11 songs (is not even a full album, NORMALLY an artist makes 16 in a deluxe version) and none of them has a melody that amazes. I like all the songs from the album, I bought it myself before it even was officially launched, still I had to listen each song atleast 10 times to like it, I literally heard each song 10 times because I couldnt beelieve I could only like 3 songs from the album, I was like "no, this isnt happening, I was a fan of Adele and I expected alot from her, Im sure if I hear it more I will like it" and yes, I like it now, and I actually love some songs, but really, if you ask me, this is not at all the potential Adele has.

These songs should be part of the "Leaked" list of songs of Adele, anyway Adele doesnt even has leaked songs because it seems she doesnt enjoy her passion as a musician too much, because if she did, she would have so many songs already that they would leak. My to fav artists have always been Adele, Lana del Rey and Jaymes Young, still Lana del Rey has showed so much passion to music since she is 20 years old, that she has around 230 songs, and only 15% of them are official, the rest are leaked. She even said in an interview she just doesnt care about them being leaked, is not like she wants every single penny out of people's pocket, she loves music and she delivers it. If someone is smart enough to stop criticizing her and deep themselves into her world, then good for them, if not, then keep on criticizing. Not sure why Adele doesnt have so many songs as Lana if she has the potential to make her dream songs come true.

Really, if I was Adele I would be 24 hours a day 7 days a week thinking about "sounds" and making sounds with my voice to make a new song. Iw ould be the whole time getting ideas for deep writting and magic melodies. Im disappointed about Adele, hopefully she is just showing her lazy side and actually he made 2 albums and the next album will be launching soon.

Adele is a greedy artist and sure, money is needed, but with all her success with just her last album, not sure why keep on being greedy with a second one, and still dont start to focus more on having fun with her voice and talent to make more songs for her, and stop STRICTLY ONLY launching Paid to listen songs.

You'd think that Adele, after selling millions of albums and reaching superstardom, and taking 4 years to write her next album, would come up with something a little more interesting than this. Music don't have to be all gloomy. Couple of not completely sleeper tunes there but her creativity for music is so low. Like why would so many people have the same lame taste?

Adele plays safe throughout the record, without really brining something different from her previous work. But if it's not broken, don't fix it: the result is a vulnerable album that proves once again how good of a songwriter Adele is and how powerful her voice is. The intimate '25' is one of the best album of the year.

Petit bémol: "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" plombe la première partie de l'album (2ème piste). Max Martin n'aurait jamais dû collaborer avec Adele.

As you can expect from Adele, album is very solid lyrically. We can see that she's trying to do a little bit energic songs as well and they're good as her ballads. Melodies are satisfying. It's definitely worth buying, 25 is a pretty strong and unique album for a comeback which has been waited for very long time from the fans.

And so, 25 came out and I listen to a different kind of ballad, more like pop. It took me a while to understand what she was saying but I understood that she wants to take her fans on a journey and so she did with more understandable language (after all, is pop culture). I had to magnify my vision about Adele that she can put a variety of genres in herself, as a musician. 25 is a "make-up" album, is different of 19 and 21, that were break-up albuns It's a really difficult thing to talk about yourself and yourself when you're not exactly sad, like in 19, so 25 is about how she is doing with her life now that she "has it all". For the concept, is a really good album. About the songs, I missed I little lyrism from River Lea, and, sorry, I just hated Send My Love (To Your New Lover). My prize of best song is going to Water Under the Bridge, because she attended to the concept of herself and the pop genre and got the real power of her voice for the type of music. For the longest while, I have wanted to listen to 25 because I loved 21 so much, as it had lyric quality across the board in a way that I had never heard before. As a result, it earned the highest score that I have ever given an album. It was certainly a very hard act to follow, yet somehow 25 is just as good, if not better, in some ways. I enjoyed the actual music a lot more in this album over its predecessor, as Adele expands her music to primarily piano-based to more poppy things while still staying true to her roots, and I thought this new sound worked extremely well. Plus, the lyrics are on par with her previous outing. Love In The Dark especially had unbelievable lyrics. I’m still kind of blown away by this as a whole. It joins the seven other albums (out of over 130) to earn a score of a ten and this rank is well earned. The work begins with Hello, and I greatly appreciated all of the lyrics, but especially the opening line. I enjoyed the piano and I thought it was brilliant how it got progressively bigger. The background vocals were also a nice touch. Send My Love’s cue-in was a wonderful way to start the song, and it was great to hear Adele start off the song with guitar, as she usually does with piano. As a result, this sounded new and different and I liked the beat it created. Powerful lyrics added to the song’s quality. I Miss You was another great song. The use of organ was new, as was the brilliant use of toms. The lyrics were grappling and the organ solo within the breaks was great. The song sounded different from her other stuff, which was wonderful. The song was almost 6 minutes in length, but somehow it didn’t feel like that. As I listened to the song, I realized that this was going to be another very high-quality album. The bass was legitimately awesome in When We Were Young and its lyrics were powerful, overflowing with emotion. The subtle introduction of the titular line was great and I dug the cool chord near end of the chorus. The introduction of drums and the stripped final chorus were highlights. Remedy’s piano opening was great (and later the piano solo and drop-outs!), and I love the song’s uplifting message. I loved the way Water Under The Bridge sounded, and, paired with captivating lyrics, this song worked extremely well. The background vocals were awesome and the e-guitars were wonderful. The clap track in the bridge was pretty cool too. The background vocals and organ made a great team in the opener of River Lea, though the fuller, developed part of song was great. The song made me want to know more about the river’s story. The lyrics were a bit repetitive, though I liked the loud bass and background vocals-only ending. Love In The Dark was perhaps the most powerful song on the album. The strings and piano were probably the best choice for the song musically. The lyrics were extremely well done with lots of emotion and power evident. The pizzicato strings were a good addition. I honestly don’t know how Adele can write lyrics that are this powerful. The strings solo was another musical highlight. The guitar was great in Million Years Ago and theunique chord progressions were cool. The panned humming and guitar were great additions. The lyrics were really good and powerful in this song as well. The piano in All I Ask was pretty nice, a bit refreshing to have a simpler song musically. The lyrics were sung emotionally, which was a plus. I loved the use of lower notes on the piano during the bridge and the key change was outstanding. Sweetest Devotion was a great choice to end the album on. The child voice intro/ending was cool, and I just really liked the way the intro was put together. The loud bass was great and I loved the way the music sounded when everything was full. The song’s upbeatness and riffing e-guitar is epic, and it was kinda fun how the bass drops out at times, covered by the low piano. Overall, I was exceedingly pleased by Adele’s final album, 25. The music was surprisingly upbeat and poppy by her previous standards, and the lyric writing was top-notch. I simply do not understand how she can think of lyrics that are this powerful. 25 is one of the best albums I have ever listened to and I highly recommend it to all lovers of really good music. Adele definitely deserves all the acclaim she has received for her work. It is rumored right now that she is working on a next album that she will drop soon, and since 21 and 25 were two of the best albums I have listened to, I am so excited for it to be released. Highlights: Hello, Send My Love, I Miss You, When We Were Young, Remedy, Water Under The Bridge, Love In The Dark, Million Years Ago, and Sweetest Devotion.

25 mi ha davvero sorpreso! È un bellissimo album anche se continuo a preferire 21. Le mie canzoni preferite sono “water under the bridge” “love in the dark” “river lea” “when we were young” and of course “hello”

Adele gives us perfection on her third studio album. The vocals. The heavenly production. The personal lyrics. Everything to create a masterpiece. Combine that with her classic ballads and some refreshing happier and sassy tracks to create an experience that no one will ever forget after listening.

Without a doubt it is a great album but there are songs that are heard similar to the previous album, the songs of heartbreak and sadness could be left over, but this is a great strength in their music.

Uno de los mejores álbumes que he escuchado, letras con una profundidad muy grande, sin alguna duda Adele sabe como hacer música.

Adele always delivers good, meaningful songs. I love this album, and it's the best album of all of Adele's discography, I love the meaningful lyrics that Adele wrote, which talk about Adele's love, passion and her feelings. This album is also the first time that I saw an Adele who is brighter and more positive. Her vocal is amazing. Adele deserves to be one of the legends in music. Excelente trabajo.

25 proves not only to be a smashing album on the charts, but also a sonically and lyrically powerful album. Adele proves without much effort that she's a respectable A-list. And here it is fitting to exalt his splendid and complete voice.

Adele nos tiene acostumbrado a la perfección, y este álbum no es menos. Simplemente brutal.

Singles "Hello" and "When We Were Young" remain highlights on the record, but aforementioned tracks like "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)," "I Miss You" and "Water Under the Bridge," not to mention "River Lea," hear Adele taking a welcome detour from the orchestral piano-pop formula and moving towards more interesting, groove-driven patterns.

Throughout these towering production flourishes, Adele's vocals cast an even vaster shadow: swooping, swerving, blaring brassily and cooing tenderly, a full orchestra unto itself that's theatrical, unpredictable, and dynamic.

The songs are not so much about love as the memory of love and, accordingly, there's a chasm between her aggressive vocal runs and the cautiously generalist lyrics, especially on the maudlin latter half.
