Bops front to back they've really come into a well produced groovy sound! And the drums go hard

Quite possibly the best album of 2021 and perhaps even Pond's best album yet. Packed to the brim with memorable hooks, lyrics, and musical flourishes in an often-times fittingly grandeur way, all masterfully mixed and produced by the band itself. A slice of psych-pop/rock perfection.

Great album by Pond element dance and psycodelic rock with various sound densities, rock for the dancefloors.

It’s not all perfect - “Czech Locomotive” and “Toast” drag - but this is a refreshing and genuinely engaging album.

After reaching for Bowie-esque grandeur on the opening "Song For Agnes," they lock into an INXS-style chromium-funk groove on "America's Cup" and reimagine The Clash as a synth-punk band on the speed-burner "Human Touch." [Nov 2021, p.32]

A richly dense experience that also channels syncopated avant-pop, semi-symphonic prog and luxuriant soft-rock. [Sep 2021, p.74]
