Great, as usual! I need more time to check details, but feels great as previous works.

A surprise to see show up in my news feed, and an even greater joy to my ears.

Great return to form, a perfect middle ground of the last album and earlier efforts.

Really great stuff from Hot Chip as always. This album is even more danceable than their past stuff. At times some songs risk being a little repetitive, but that's never been something these guys shy away from. They do each track justice, giving it all the attention and love it needs, which makes the album feel much more fleshed out than a glance at the tracklist may lead you to believe.Really great stuff from Hot Chip as always. "Spell" is my new jam, can't stop listening to it! Expand

Maybe it takes a band of Hot Chip’s experience and sonic skill to have both pain and love that are as hard-won and effecting as it is on A Bath Full of Ecstasy; expanding their palette or not, big stars or not, it’s a joy to have them back.

Tracks like "Hungry Child" and "No God" are huge, highly focussed anthems that would boss a festival stage. For all of the album's welcome contradictions, however, this focus does hold it back a little. ... But at the right time, in the right company or on the right dance floor, it's a powerful high that also has a message.

The sonic backdrop is richer, more luscious and colourful, whilst rhythms that once would twitch are now more confident and loose.
