May 31, 2018Citizen successfully experiments with new punk/emo fusion sounds with their spacey and gloomy release 'As You Please'. Some songs on the album are so catchy you almost believe to have heard them before; not from reoccurence, but recognition.

Oct 19, 2017With 12 songs of nearly equal tone, volume, and length, the nearly hour-long As You Please becomes its own endurance test. When As You Please is taken in smaller chunks, the minor variations between the songs where Citizen churn and the ones where they steamroll ever forward become more discernible.

Oct 11, 2017Upon first listen, the album may not seem like the next step in the band’s career but upon further inspection, the album feels like the next necessary move. Mat Kerekes vocals really shine through on this record as they always do. This is definitely something to listen to if you enjoy Run For Cover Records bands or Citizen.
