This Album keeps me coming back since its release in 2018. Its a surprise hit for me, as I am a fan of Shinedown but was never a huge fan. So hearing Attention attention caught me off guard for how solid an album it is. Some heavy songs that are not just filler with some spitting lyrics, like "Brilliant" and "Monsters". A couple of tracks two-thirds of the way through could probably have been left on the side of the road, but Attention Attention concludes just the way it started--with defiant power, immense vocals and thunderous, thirst-quenching melody. [5 May 2018, p.55]

At its core, Attention Attention is a fun, engaging ride, maintaining Shinedown's power while making subtle bids to attract a wider audience.

A loose concept album that charts the lows, highs and subsequent recovery of its protagonist, sonically it’s punchier, angrier even, than previous records.
