Ridiculous album cover aside, this is a pretty standard Young Thug album. Nothing too wild, but nothing all that creative, especially compared to his last tape JEFFERY, his most adventurous album to date. Nothing too wild, but nothing all that creative, especially compared to his last tape JEFFERY, his most adventurous album to date. Most of the tracks here are standard trap rap affair with trap high hats and distorted kick-drum basses with Thugger rapping in his trademark yelpy style and not much lyrical innovation outside of the money and hoes anthems. The smooth guitar lines here and there do add some character, and Thugger has an addictive flow that it is hard not to groove to even when you feel guilty, and there are a few fun tracks like Do U Love Me, Relationship, and You Said, but other than that most of the tracks can be filed under "generic trap rap." It's alright more than anything but I don't see it winning over people skeptical of Thugger's music. If you are a fan, then you'll enjoy it regardless. As someone that's alright with Thugger and find him probably the best mumble rapper out there, it's alright. Expand

This album has its own style, good vibe, and interesting vocals, and also bad lyrics.

Though you can enjoy vocals (actually, your opinion on this album depends on liking Thug's voice) and music, it's a hip-hop album, which has a lot of lyrics (yeah, I know, that they're just an excuse for Young to sing) and the are too bad and too meaningless. For Example, the most acclaimed rapper now,

For Example, the most acclaimed rapper now, Kendrick Lamar, has not only great vibe and interesting voice play, he has an interesting story and lyrics behind it.

So we have the interesting voice, which will not be loved by everyone, good music and godawful lyrics about sex, love, and bragging. And here's examples of love and sex lyrics: **** me, suck me
L-O-V-E, do you love me?". If you really enjoy his vocals, add 1 or 2 balls to my score.

This is one of his best packages, and it was well worth the wait and all the twists and turns in between.

Beautiful Thugger Girls is remarkable because of its Thugger-ness--it’s a clear step forward at the very moment that Thug-derivation is a particularly viable come-up.

Thug sounds the best he’s ever sounded, despite some of the songs begin fairly far removed from his proverbial comfort zone.
