I didn't feel the love in this album like I did with the others. The lyrics felt generic, the songs all felt kind of the same, with nothing really sticking out. I can't picture myself wanting to turn up the volume to any songs or sing out with enthusiasm, or just vibe too on a late night drive. I finished the album looking forward to listening to something else.

The 7th studio Album by bush felt nothing like grunge anymore and seems to be inspired by modern alt rock, which is ok, but not only feels every song on the album like a bad foo fighters song, yet all the songs sound the same and have a pretty simple structure which make it feel cheap and forgettable.
    Best Songs:People at War
Worst Song:Water Recommendations: I wouldn't recommend you to

It never manages to rouse itself from a miasma of mid-tempo sameiness. Also, at 15 songs and 57 minutes, it is preposterously long, and your attention is likely to have wandered long before the insipid new age chords of final track People at War begin chiming away.

Overall, Black and White Rainbows is an interesting piece of the Bush discography, hinting at a late-era trajectory shift and a reinvigorated spirit for Rossdale and company. While he nurses fresh wounds that have stripped his world of color, at the very least he can still see beauty and hope through the gloom.

Bush are far from the abomination of media repute, but Black And White Rainbows won’t convert the long-term haters, and seems too torpid to mobilise a fresh generation of fans.
