Not a bad album but I feel like I have already heard 80% of the songs already on her previous albums.

Too abstract to hold your attention. A frustrating sequel to the disappointing streak post "NFR!" Which isn't critique meant to demean this record against a magnum opus not easily repeated (nor should it be)but with that said the following releases feel like husks of an album. Very seamless and extremly forgettable. Lyrics are hardly ever a point of contention with Lana but with theseToo abstract to hold your attention. Very seamless and extremly forgettable. Lyrics are hardly ever a point of contention with Lana but with these one's it feels close to a Lana del Rey imitator trying to evoke the cool of "video games " and atmosphere of tge Ultraviolence Lp. Nothing feels worth your time. Arcadia the lead single meanders blindly almost asking to be skipped. Blk bathing suit is a sad shadow of the adept prose and delivery of Ultraviolence(an obvious reference point). Textbook is almost a highlight but collapses under it's own ideas. And whether the proximity to her previous record has a play but I doubt it as many artists have done close releases, Blue Banister (&chemtrails of the country) feel like B side compilations no one really needed. This mediocrity might satisfy die hard fan's and people comfortable with an album being words and a beat that achieve no enjoyment, but as a fan who would be continuously floored as Born to die was topped by honeymoon and honey moon by lust for life and that by NFR ,a fan who had seen an artist with one of the most streamlined discography's I remain in the place of my chemtrails disappointment. Não é, nem de longe, um dos melhores álbuns de Lana. Mas, ainda assim, serve qualidade e criatividade. 6/10

Not surprised by the 10s from all the fans, but every listener will hear that this is far from her prime. It has more emotions than her previous two albums. The lyrics are very private, but so mundane at the same time that you fail to relate to it. Listening to Blue Banisters is like a watching a home movie from Lana Del Rey. Visually the album doesn't have much to offer either. An underexposed cover and "music videos" shot on her iphone where she is sitting in the garden with her friends for 4 minutes.

I applaud her for raising issues of our social, political and cultural current affairs in some songs, but it is also worth mentioning that in others there was unnecessary padding that makes the concept of blue banisters confusing

Tal vez uno de sus peores álbumes, pero algunas canciones son buenísimas, pero la mayoría del álbum suena medio igual, aunque no es tan malo

Just giving me the full Ldr experience and I'm here for it. Also she stepped out of her comfort zone vocally and it paid off

So personal, deep and raw. Her vocals are sublime and the lyrics the best she's ever had.

Lana shows promise with some songs on this album but fails to deliver with others. It truly feels like at some point, perhaps management or the label stepped in and rushed it to completion? While the days of Born to Die have long since passed, Lana Del Rey is still seeking paradise, closer now than ever as she turns her search inward, seemingly recognizing that paradise is ultimately found within the best of oneself. Still, if there is indeed a physical Arcadia to be revealed, it has not emerged in its entirety on Blue Banisters. That said, its intoxicating hints are enough to keep seekers thirsty.
