    Rose solo was beautiful but it shouldn’t have been included. The lyrics were cringy.

    Disappointing. Waiting 2 years to get just 8 songs of which: 2 songs are already heard, their 2 most boring ballads & a badly-credited solo. A turnt for the worse.

    Happiest girl sounds like a fresh Breeze of air and good use of the vocals. Yeah yeah yeah feels like a catchy cute pop you can frequently listen to. Rosé's hard to love was the highlight of the album, a nice surprise, tally & typa girl tho lyrically are like the other blackpink songs talking about how they are the queen's & we are the losers but sounds fine. Lyrically the Album is below average coz like any other blackpink project. Half of the songs are diss tracks made with the tik tok formula. Tho I expected improvement after the Album, this one disappointed me. Anyways we got 2 members participating in "one" song, that's a reason to celebrate.

    It has some catchy tunes but just as their previous works, the beats and sounds are similar and it didn't leave much of the 'wow' factor on me.

    O álbum trouxe uma estética e uma visão diferente do que vi Blackpink em 'The Album', diferente do seu antecessor que literalmente era um álbum só de singles, o Born Pink trouxe um lado mais romântico e músicas mais lentas, onde podemos ter mais destaque das integrantes do que batidas que são feitas pra não te deixar parado. Algumas músicas na minha opinião são mais do mesmo, mas aindaO álbum trouxe uma estética e uma visão diferente do que vi Blackpink em 'The Album', diferente do seu antecessor que literalmente era um álbum só de singles, o Born Pink trouxe um lado mais romântico e músicas mais lentas, onde podemos ter mais destaque das integrantes do que batidas que são feitas pra não te deixar parado. Algumas músicas na minha opinião são mais do mesmo, mas ainda assim consigo ter uns pontos fortes no final. 'Typa Girl' senti uma versão 'Pretty Savage pt2', porém que não grudou tanto como ela. E logo mais temos 'The Happiest Girl', que é uma das que mais gostei no álbum. Yeah Yeah Yeah, Hard to love e Tally me lembraram muito filmes de comédia romântica dos anos 90 e inicio dos anos 2000 e eu simplesmente AMEI! (Só acho que Yeah Yeah Yeah poderia não ter o eletrônico, acredito que não casou com a música). No geral, as primeiras faixas podem acabar afastando alguém que queira ouvir pois destoam totalmente do restante apresentado. Considero que a escolha pra single e title do álbum não foram muito acertadas, mas não vejo outra música que teria potencial pra ser o single comercial do álbum.     Realmente el álbum es más de lo mismo en toda su discografía, y aunque jugaron un poco más con los instrumentales realmente lo que él productor hizo fue tomar simples de otras canciones, no veo innovación en su concepto nuevamente

"Shut Down", Title Track, tiene un instrumental sumamente atractivo y una lirica energética. "Yeah yeah Yeah" es el toque retro del lanzamiento. "Hard To Love" no enseña el trabajo en solitario de Rosé, vocalista principal, siendo este una canción fresca yBORN PINK, el segundo album completo de las chicas de YG.     At first I was really disappointed with the album. Yeah Yeah Yeah and Tally is my personal favorite. Tally gonna be my song when I'm on the bus or chilling. Yeah Yeah Yeah, i love the nostalgic sad/happy feel to this song. This album was not that bad but some of songs was weak. I was expected something strong and different but it wasn't.

    The execution itself often falls frustratingly flat, lacking originality and a clear-cut focus. With its limited scope of musical conceptions, Born Pink, therefore, sounds strangely restricted, as if detained in a confined space wherein it longs to escape.

    On ‘Born Pink’, BLACKPINK tread familiar thematic territory for pop music, but the imagery – finding solace from heartbreak at the bottom of a bottle (‘The Happiest Girl’), boasting about being the type of girl you take to your “mama house” (‘Typa Girl’) – isn’t particularly novel, though they have effectively applied a personal touch in the past (see Jennie’s ‘Solo’).

    “Born Pink” is occasionally galvanic, and occasionally iterative. When the group does push into new territory — or more accurately, unshackles itself from familiar ground — it doesn’t leave much of an impact.
