I think it's a pretty decent debut from this group. Their noisy, rough style is something to keep an eye on because they could potentially make something amazing! My favorite songs are Family Van, Good Grief, and Why July. But if I had to point out which one is my least favorite, I would've picked the song 2008. But if I had to point out which one is my least favorite, I would've picked the song 2008. Because I found that song to be kind of boring, sluggish and trying to be emotional and dramatic, and I think that the song flopped because of it. Another tiny complaint I have is that I think that this album started strong but ended pretty weak. But overall, I think it's pretty good.

Despite fantastic singles, especially Family Van and 2008, cleopatrick sometimes sound like they struggle to extract more from the rest of the songs. After a few listens, the album only gets better and better. And the most important thing about their whole work is this irresistible kind of authenticity, which differentiates them from the other bands. I really enjoy these guys’ vibe. I often listen to all of the tracks in one breath. The album’s dope.

Cleopatric really overdid himself on this one. Despite being an album of lots of similar feels but one of a kind. It is still listenable in one breath definitely energetic and can probably be approved by lots of different rock fans as it is uncountably a rock album. Brilliantly loud album. Intense, strong lyrically as well as musically. Drums sounding top notch, as are the vocals.

    A debut rich in raw potential.[Summer 2021, p.87]

BUMMER is an album where cleopatrick excel more than they struggle. Their sound could do with a little streamlining, but for a debut LP, this is a bold and at times very enjoyable effort.

‘BUMMER’ is a record made to be played hard and loud, heard blaring out of car windows and making cavalcades in faceless crowds.
