    Great vocals, but the songs are so generic, sounds like a desperate attempt to have a hit, and it feels like you're hearing the music track after track.

    É triste ver o fim que se tomou. Um linda voz mas com uma pobreza em letras e produção. Tem melódicos pontos altos, como Wildfire e Lionheart, mas decepciona no quesito letra. Quem sabe em uma outra oportunidade a gravadora tome mais cuidado e consiga produtores mais qualificados para trabalhar com essa voz unica que a Demi tem.

    I feel like this album has no identity at all, there's no memorable track. All tracks are good in the first 15 seconds but the quality goes downhill on the chorus. But her voice is getting a lot better, I can't wait to hear her next record.

    A Disappoiting Album, for who said that wanted to win Grammy's this one is very weak...............
    But "For You","Lionheart" & "Cool For The Summer" are absolutely incredible... But this one isn't the Best album Of Demi i continue with Here We Go Again 2009 and Demi 2013..

    Em comparação aos outros álbuns da Lovato esse não é um trabalho ruim, chega a ser bom. Mas ainda acho o Here We Go Again o melhor álbum dela, os outros só tentam ser melhores.

    First with the harsh stuff: Confident is filled with lack luster beats and is a little set back from her previous work. This albums tries to portray Demi's voice in a variety of mediums: as an upbeat, high note (Confident), a gospel voice (Father, Stone Cold), and a seductive tone (Cool for the Summer). This proves mainly to fail. Some songs sound like they have unnecessary auto tune. This albums tries to portray Demi's voice in a variety of mediums: as an upbeat, high note (Confident), a gospel voice (Father, Stone Cold), and a seductive tone (Cool for the Summer). This proves mainly to fail. Some songs sound like they have unnecessary auto tune. Demi Lovato has a nice voice and some powerful belts but sounds a little raspy, sometimes. Most songs contain drops in the beat after the chorus which prove unnecessary. The beats are poor in an EDM point of view and don't fit the album well. The album doesn't flow very well, also. The album transitions from "For You" with upbeat and an EDM style into the song "Stone Cold" with a low key and piano ballad. But that's basically insignificant when debating if the album "sounds good".

    Now for the good stuff: She can sing. Period. She has great belts and a powerful voice. Her voice pairs greatly with piano with her dark, low key. She can, also, hit high notes; which makes you realize she is a well trained singer.

    The best songs on this album are "Stone Cold" and "Confident". Both songs portray her strongest vocals on the album. She should continue with these genre. It obviously works for her.
    The worst song is "Stars". "Stars" is a mess. Honestly. The opening is like combining 10 instruments that are playing 10 different songs accompanied by a babyish scream and cuts into a keyboard verse and pre-chorus; but the chorus continues the trash opening sound.

    Compared to "Revival" by Selena Gomez, which I also reviewed, "Confident" is trying to hard. "Revival" showcased Selena in a new medium which proved successful and more subtle. "Confident" is a combination of trials. It's basically Demi experimenting with a few different types of music and vocal range. "Confident" is okay. It's pop. It's not great but not bad enough to give a completely negative review.    … Expand

    kind of that pure pop average stuff. starting off the album with her first single 'cool for the summer' she kind of was trying to go mainstream. I feel like she can do so much better.

    She is screaming too much, the songs begin well but at the end it looks like she lost control. Is overproduced and have some terrible lyrics like the "band-aid" verse on "Waiting for You". But I have to say that "yes" and "father" and maybe "Kingdom Come" are great songs.

    É a Demi, sua voz poderosa permanece, mas em conjunto como um todo, é muito previsível, não há nada de inovador quanto a seus outros álbuns, me lembra um pouco Ariana e Adele.

    Pra mim seguiu a mesma linha que o Demi, poderia ter sido um album mais explorado, começou com um single totalmente inovador mas no fim voltou para o começo, de qualquer forma foi muito bem trabalhado.

    her vocals are on point, although i feel after her DEMI world tour finished she did not spend much time on it, and hence she just in order to put an album out released this. Its a pretty decent album but i guess she has the voice but she is not using it in the right way.     Sim, é um bom álbum, mas não vejo nada de especial nele, pra alguém que quer indicação ao Grammy, acho que ela não está no caminho correto. Stone Cold é uma preciosidade perto de tanta música mais ou menos.

Cool for the summer is a great song, and my personal favoirtr Waiting For You is an amazing song full of attitude and energy but that dissapears when Sirahs voice slows things down. Kingdom Come is an okay song but Iggy'sThis is a good album, but its inconsistent, and the highs dont reach high enough. Confident is a energitic pop songs with great vocals, but the chorus doesnt give much.     I have been waiting for this because I wanted another Demi, a different work. A new work. This is DEMI with a summer song. Lovato really disappointed me.

    The album does have stand tracks like "Confident" / "Father" & "Waitin' For You" but there isn't a vibe that she had on her last album, i got bored really quickly and tried really hard to be sexy when i really isn't, she is at her best when she belts out songs like 'Confident' because at least that song is exciting unlike 'Kingdom Come' and 'Yes' which are really bad.

    A Strong voice, there's no doubt. But need more than it to make a good pop album. The songs seem threw in without a line, the songs seem the same. Some seems a lot of scream, the album cover is not what the songs say. Demi is trying to be Confident, but her work on Confident don't show me it.

    Demi não me surpreendeu em nada no album, sempre a mesma coisa, agora só está mais trabalhado, varias musicas tem "gritos" desnecessários, parece que ela não consegue cantar sem gritar, tem algumas musicas boas, e outras que cairam na mesma coisa de sempre.

I'll admit that Demi is a very talented vocalist, but hearing her belt it out track after track gets exhausting. And it doesn't help that the music and lyrics are really underwhelming.     At a certain point it starts to sound like the same thing over and over again, but demi is a wonderful vocalist and I still think it was a nice album.

    Demi actually tried to changes her comfort zone, but it didn't actually work. We had some powerfull songs like Stone Cold, Father and Wildfire. But by other side, we had some commercial songs, like Confident and Kindgdom come.

Choosing Iggy Azalea and Sirah as features also prove to be problematic to the album. Overall, the album is almost solid; Demi just needs to be more consistent and differentiate her sound.

Unfortunately, I found most of the album pretty bottom-heavy, but its bright spots were shining strong. I would give this a 6.5/10, but Metacritic doesn't give meThing about this album, the tracks were either a hit or a miss. You had hits like Confident, Lionheart, and Mr. Hughes, but there were also some duds like Cool For The Summer (Yes; I didn't like that one), Wildfire, and Stars.     A Really OVERRATED Album.

    Any other album of Demi Lovato is better than this yes any other album, Unbroken (2011) is better, Demi (2013) is better, Here We Go Again (2009) is lights years better Even Don't Forget (2008) the most disney album is better than this one.

    Full of trash melodies. Demi if you want win one,two or three grammys, you can do better. you ever done.

    A decent mainstream pop album. Some good songs here and there. And Demi sounds pretty good.
