EdWApr 24, 2006a really decent album. i was always a fan of blur and bought "happiness in magazines" by coxon. i was very impressed by that and got this masterpiece on the cheap as well. i rate it even higher than "happiness in magazines" and i cannot stop listening to it. 'too uptight' and 'a place for grief' in particular are beautiful songs.

AdamXFeb 11, 2004one of those albums that takes time, but when it hits you and you GET IT you realise this is easily one of the best albums ever... let alone Coxon's best...

MojoFurther evidence who believe Coxon is the most creatively restless member of Blur. [Aug 2001, p.98]

However essential it was to make, it just doesn't feel essential enough to keep on hearing.
