This album is one of personal part in my life. And I made tatoo on my hand with it's main symbol - the dark black rose for remeber my emotions and a life compass.
This album is very dark and sad, serious and difficult. If you want to get into all the hard stuff, this album will be a great guide and soundtrack for it

The tracks on this album were very hit or miss with me. I would say overall I enjoyed the album enough. It had a lot of strong tracks, such as Meet Ur Maker, Emerge From Smoke, and Slow Descent. However, weaker tracks, such as opener Ten Days of Falling, feel like they have a lot of potential but hold back.

Laufer flushes out the dark corners of last year’s blushingly sexy No More EP with velvet-voiced rapper Jeremih, turning it into his most ambitious and cinematic album yet.

He roughs up synth-wave and jungle on "Apathy" and "Fading," but does so with a certain tenderness. [Jun 2015, p.81]

Shlohmo creates reverential moments out of human gloom, and does so with a level of execution that invites multiple listens while defying comparisons, too.
