    SHE SNAPS EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! This is such a cohesive and maturing album for Carly. Some might say that EMOTION is a better album, but they are just two very different albums. This album sounds exactly like how she described it, an album that you want to clean your house to. It's not a complicated concept, and it doesn't have to be.

    This album gives me the pop attitude that I have not seen on major pop artist's music in the past few years. Without being bias I think this is what pop should sound like. The sound of the album is energetic, rhythmic, and joyful but not reaching the point of being childish.

    Thanks to Carly that she came back and saved pop again! This is a rare but precious, simple but amazing, imperfect but perfect album that shows us Carly’s difference. A lot of tracks in the album are written by herself, as in every album, showing multiple talents of Carly that she’s also playing instruments and participating in the production of the songs as well. Since the Julien, you can feel the amount of fun Carly Rae Jepsen had while making this album. The way she addresses topics like love, self-love, falling in love, and adoring someone is just unique.     the album is a cohesive pop gem. truly one of the most charming albums of the year. Carly definitely wears her heart on her sleeve, and we can clearly see that hear. fav songs: Julien, want you in my room, everything he needs, ill be your girl, and no drug like me. check it out!!

Dedicated is another tree where Carly Rae Jepsen blossoms, from the funky start of Julien to the slow vibes of 'No Drug Like Me' this album has so many flavors! 'Now That I Found You' bring backs the catchy pop she is known for and 'Want You In My Room' shows her sexy and mature side. 'Everything He Needs' brings a classic catchy sound to the table followed by the pop boost of 'Happy Not Knowing'. The most surprising song to me was: 'I'll Be Your Girl' which gives me rock-pop vibes. Followed by my fave single 'Too Much' which should be the song of the summer. The Sound brings a cute production and her voice has a little rasp in it too. 'Automatically in Love' is my favorite song of the album, which gives me major throwback vibes to the 90's and great songwriting. Carly's collab with Electric Guest does not disappoint and gives me summer vibes. Followed by 'Right Words Wrong Time' which gives me the same vibes as 'No Drug Like Me' slow but her vocals shine. Up next: 'Real Love' which brings back the sax as well as in 'Want You In My Room', a great closer to a standard version, really cute. 'For Sure' is heartbreaking but also is an anthem and totally fits a festival, with the handclaps and everything.
    Followed by Party For One which gives this album full circle, from an ode to 'Julien' and other love songs/heartbreak moments bring her back to herself.
    Love the production,songwriting and her voice, she keeps progressing every time.

Jepsen entangles in her lyricism perfectly what is to have a very intense crush, mixing with lightly version of a somehow lost teenage angst from the early 2000s, al wrapped in a ver eclectic 80s inspired production. Somehow it already feels it will be obliterated by the general audience,It feels like a direct continuation of what is already a cult following masterpiece that EMOTION was.     Carly has proven once again why she is truly the underground Queen of pop. This album does not have a single skippable song and just filled with substance. It's nice to enjoy a good track list without any filler songs unlike most artists nowadays that pad out an album. It's awesome pop is back again.

    Carly Rae Jepsen's album "Dedicated" really brings "music you can clean your house to" to a brand new level. Jepsen does an amazing job with her smooth pop melodies on Julien and yet can mix it up to something more upbeat like on Want You In My Room. Every single song is an absolute treat that will have you begging for more.

    Dedicated is an amazing album. It feels grown up and the production is perfect, yet it still manages some interesting moments that differentiate it. My one issue with the album is how quickly some songs end. It leaves you wanting so much more! It really just is an amazing, mature, perfected album.

Carly's career on its own is quite fascinating to witness--she went from one end of the spectrum (having a "flop" debut album that was not mainstream) to the other (massive success with 'Kiss,' a very commercial album) only to rediscover and reinvent herself as a genius in her own lane (E•MO•TION). This girl ALWAYS delivers and the quality of the production, lyricism, and songwriting is off the charts. With her 3rd major-label release (fourth, in total), Ms Jepsen is here to remind us that she still is at the top of her game.

    "Dedicated" is a great pop record, made up of pop songs that serve substance. The production all through-out the 15-songs effort is exceptional: 'Julien' is a funky disco jam, while 'Feels Right', featuring Electric Guitar, has that summer-y dance-y feel to it. Jepsen's lyricism has shifted to be more about being in love and being happy, while there are still songs that deal with heartbreak (a very prominent theme on "EMOTION"); 'Right Words Wrong Time' for instance is a sad song in which Carly expressed her disappointment in an ex.

    The use of vocoder and vocal distortions goes so well for Jepsen; an example is the line 'I got everything he needs', in the middle of the very catchy chorus of the excellent 'Everything He Needs', or the chorus of 'The Sound', which uses some light-vocoding after having one of Carly's most vulnerable and soft vocal performances on the verses. A lot of others songs on this album are just so well-done: 'Want You in Room', which typically sounds like something Jack Antonoff would produce, will have you jumping and dancing around, 'Real Love' is a great statement about being willing to wait for true love, that also serves as a great closer to the standard edition of the album. However, the biggest highlight remains 'Automatically in Love', a song that is so rich with lyrics, with production, with vocals, with attitude, with happiness and dreaminess.

    Jepsen's strength remains in her versatility: she didn't make another record like "EMOTION"; she went out and experimented and came up with fresh ideas. And while its second half is richer than its first, "Dedicated" is a spectacular pop record about love, happiness, and loss, and it confirms that Carly Rae Jepsen's genius isn't going anywhere anytime soon.    … Expand

    Dedicated is not my favorite album of hers but it is a fantastic album. This is one of my favorite albums of 2019. Her voice on the album is just as stupendous as it always is. I don't love very song on the albums but the ones that I do love are Now That I Found You, Party for One, Too Much, Julien, Feels Right (featuring Electric Guest), Happy Not Knowing, Right Words Wrong Time, and NoDedicated is not my favorite album of hers but it is a fantastic album. This is one of my favorite albums of 2019. Her voice on the album is just as stupendous as it always is. With dedicated she is making it once again, 15 tracks full of simple but sincere emotions, you can dance, jump, cry. There’s only one collaboration which shows that Carly can make an album by herself with no draw upon collaborations,Carly has done something that’s so hard to reach, the emotion whole project was 25 songs that you can listen from beginning to end with no skip any track. With dedicated she is making it once again, 15 tracks full of simple but sincere emotions, you can dance, jump, cry. There’s only one collaboration which shows that Carly can make an album by herself with no draw upon collaborations, trap, reggaeton, hip hop or any other trending topic, she is faithful on her style.     I think it's cohesive, not necessarily another E-MO-TION (which is totally fine), but I get the same initial feeling as when I first dove into Robyn's Honey -- although not as spiritual and mournful, just really well-written and it will unveil its charms with repeated listens. I would have loved slightly edgier production (remember how Warm Blood and Gimme Love's production felt just soI think it's cohesive, not necessarily another E-MO-TION (which is totally fine), but I get the same initial feeling as when I first dove into Robyn's Honey -- although not as spiritual and mournful, just really well-written and it will unveil its charms with repeated listens. I would have loved slightly edgier production (remember how Warm Blood and Gimme Love's production felt just so fresh and compelling) -- I wonder where the tunes she did with Blood Orange or Ariel Rechtshaid are.… Expand

    Carly always manages to mix contemporary sounds with the old school pop sounds. And this album is no exception. Julien is the kind of song you must play at a party. Party For One had the power to be a smash hit but just as usual, people keep sleeping on her. Right Words Wrong Time is unique. Keep the bops coming Carly!

    Carly Rae Jepsen has figured it out at this point. She knows how to make great music, period. This didn't captivate me as much as EMOTION did, but it's a great pop album with her distinctive voice and signature.

    Yes! Go Carly! This album is pure, genuine pop, which I didn't hear in a long time! She managed to get this '80s vibes style that suits her and her voice perfectly. I love it.

    Carly's songwriting is evolving with every project she releases, it's just that with this album some songs can be better and to an extent should be cut to make the album stronger.

This album is a continuation from E•MO•TION in terms of sound, but with different mood. Dedicated shows how Carly grows as a musician.     Repite la misma fórmula de E•MO•TION, pero con una identidad diferente, no suena TAN repetitivo si le das la oportunidad, pero si es un poco insípido en ciertas canciones, a pesar de esto, es un álbum que habla de amor...propio, de pareja de una forma más madura a sus otros proyectos, es pop puro.

    Carly Rae Jepsen teria sido uma grande cantora se tivesse pego todas as oportunidades que teve em seu início de carreira. Apesar disso, ela trouxe um álbum pop excelente que merece estar nos ouvidos de muitos. Músicas como Feels Right e Too Much são extremamente dançantes e ótimas de se ouvir. Esse álbum merece ter a devida divulgação. Escutem Dedicated!!

The good news is that CRJ’s fourth full-length album was, for the most part, well worth the wait.

Yet that’s been the plight of the army of pop lovers, sad indie lads and previously-jaded music critics caught in the wake of Carly Rae Jepsen’s fantastic synth-pop opus Emotion. The good news is that CRJ’s fourth full-length album was, for the most part, well worth the wait.

    Dedicated is a mixture of flirtation, longing, jealousy and heartbreak but mostly synthesizers. It reflects the singer’s musical growth between albums. Her conventional pop productions take on more mature subject matter and she experiments with incorporating diverse sounds. The release does disappoint in some aspects with uninventive lyrics and an unfortunate lack of standout vocal performances but despite this, the high energy, undeniably catchy and well-crafted beats and melodies on the album will make you forget about any of its’ faults and leave you singing along instead.

    While Jepsen is not pushing the boundaries of pop with Dedicated, she does create a celebration of the sounds and sentiments that make the genre so enjoyable. The beauty of a Carly Rae Jepsen song is that it does not take itself too seriously. Dedicated further solidifies her music as an unwavering voice of honesty, unashamedly pop and a go-to for your summer soundtrack.

    Carly Rae Jepsen's "Dedicated" is a pop masterpiece. The nostalgic feel and sound are the best things about this album. Everything else is great too; the songwriting is creative, the beats will keep you dancing wherever you are, and the whole album just proves that Jepsen has matured in musicality. Though some tracks are a bit forgettable in my opinion, there are many other melodious songsCarly Rae Jepsen's "Dedicated" is a pop masterpiece.     The first half of the album is actually quite entertaining and good. I think that "Too Much" and Tracks 10-12 are probably the only tracks that I don't like. The second half overall is just underwhelming to me. A lot of tracks on the album are underproduced, which is never a good sign.

Algumas faixas são lineares instrumentalmente falando, outras apresentam um excelente arranjo (é o caso de Right Words Wrong Time). No conjunto enredo x instrumento é um bom álbum.     Carly delivers once again and defines experimental pop in an impressive way. Each track stands out on its own but are also cohesive, which makes it such a great album.

    Carly brought golden age feels with this shimmering sweet tune every track screams pop.so catchy ,well crafted and yet it has depth within it. a solid pop record that will be classic for years.

    This was a particularly mixed album. There were catchy songs like Too much that get stuck in your head for days. Then there were songs that felt like cookie cutter Jepsen. Now that I found you seems to try and replicate the bubblegum poppy goodness of Cut to the feeling. The album seemed to suffer from convoluted production at times. This is by no means emotion, but isn't her worst album by far.

    This album could've spawned multiple hits if properly promoted. Dedicated is a decent album. Carly explores new sounds throughout, which was a small issue for me. I usually enjoy when artists try new sounds within their albums, Carly however made her album confusing. She had bubblegum pop, Funk, and 80s mixed into one album.

    Another issue with this album was the lack of creativity. I    This album could've spawned multiple hits if properly promoted. Dedicated is a decent album. Carly explores new sounds throughout, which was a small issue for me. I usually enjoy when artists try new sounds within their albums, Carly however made her album confusing. She had bubblegum pop, Funk, and 80s mixed into one album.

    Another issue with this album was the lack of creativity. I found a few songs starting to sound similar, which could mean fillers. I was shocked I actually liked a handful of songs off of this album. I do look forward to future songs and albums. She deserves a top 10 hit again.

    There could be an argument that a couple of edits to make the track listing shorter would have resulted in an even more effective album. However, this is easily one of the best pop albums of the year as it is: one that’s unlikely to be bettered unless a certain Ms Swift really pulls it out of the bag.

    Dedicated isn’t a perfect album--it’s overlong and occasionally concedes too much to chart tastes to be interesting. But by the time Jepsen takes a bow following bonus track “Party For One,” you’re reminded once again of her generosity, of all the space she’s cleared for strength and weakness, for personal epiphanies and communal release.
