one of the most cohesive albums released in the past couple of years. lana’s signature lyricism comes through alonside some sonic experimentation that makes for a very nuanced and complex body of work.

Lana Del Rey at her finest. She is experimenting and trying out new things in this album and it is just amazing. The production, the writing and her VOICE! It's just amazing in DYKTTATUOB. It feels very inspired by previous albums, LFL, NFR and Honeymoon are the main ones that come to mind. The result is a phenomenal combination of Lana's previous eras while looking forward with a modern feel.

she is a legend she is the moment and she is a legend. on the grants, she puts us on she wants us to be under the tunnel the best opening track the album could ever have. ending with taco truck x vb is so magical and nostalgic, what makes the experience while listening so heavy and heavenly. such a travel across her beautiful mind loved every minute of minute.

On this album Lana talks about her family, friends and personal experiences as she has never done. The album looks like an open diary where she lets us know things about her childhood and present. The songwriting and production of the songs on it are truly amazing. A 10/10 Masterpiece!

So incredible that I made a count just because everyone should be listening this masterpiece, it's Lana as she's never been seen before, showing herself vulnerable and exploring themes of death, love and legacy. Dare I say it surpasses NFR and we are witnessing a new classic.

Beautiful, free, conversational, long, poetry, emotional, chaotic, massive themes, delicate, complicated, art, heartbreaking, terrifying, hopeful, among many others…a masterpiece. I had to read the lyrics, it was overwhelming, but I’m so glad I did. Thank you Lana.

There are definitely top tier sections of this album. The Grants - A&W and Fishtail - Taco Truck x VB are the best tracks. The album is definitely ethereal, and is more interesting version of Honeymoon. The album has a tendency to merge into one song in the middle section upon first listen, but I am hopeful that it will grow on me.

Este es probablemente el mejor trabajo discográfico de Lana Del Rey en años, sus sonidos nos recuerdan sus epocas en las qie era bien recibida comercialmente peeo poco aclamada por la crítica de manera injusta. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Easily one of Del Rey's best albums, she returns with her typical, lovely, voice in this album. She manages to span several genres, from trap, all the way to gospel. Sonically, there is a lot of melancholic piano scattered throughout the album, heard very well on "GPSOTSOMFWHIDSF" and "Candy Necklace." Tunnel definitely has some of her best songwriting thus far, along with her other critically acclaimed masterpieces like 'Chemtrails Over The Country Club' and 2019's 'Norman **** Rockwell!' There are so many beautiful songs on this album that it's difficult to choose a personal favorite, but I think I'd say 'Taco Truck X VB,' 'Kintsugi,' and 'A&W' are my front runners. These songs all have beautiful songwriting and production and are definitely some highlights from the singer's career. There's not much more I can say about this album without sounding repetitive other than the word "wow." She really crafted an absolutely beautiful album like it was not much, just a normal day for the singer-songwriter. In my opinion, this is certainly the best album of 2023 thus far. Expand

Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd is a 16-track, 78-minute album, and some of it will lose even her most ardent fans. Track eight is where it regains itself through the extended metaphor of “Kintsugi”: a Japanese term for a pottery repair technique that calls attention to the crack rather than hides it. .... [After “Margaret”] There are three more tracks, though.

So while Del Rey is still the same sepia-tinted, sun-soaked American aesthete that she once was, there are real lifetime stamps all over Did you know that conjure a biographical sincerity, instigating a personal closeness.
