    Just plain disappointing. Not really a Crowded House album, more a rather bitsy Finn Family record. Curiously, it lacks warmth, passion and emotion, all things CH and Neil Finn are renowned for. Not a patch on Neil Finn's outstanding 2017 solo album, Out of Silence. Avoid.

    You know the mellow sound from Crowded House well it's back with some catchy guitar riffs and somehow they balance out playing to both the pop and rock audiences. The songwriting is top notch oh yeah welcome back!

    Finn senior’s prescient lyrics, sugarcoated with melody for ease of delivery, help make Dreamers Are Waiting both tart and timeless.

    If some listeners don’t feel quite the immediacy that connected them with some of Crowded House’s early material, Dreamers Are Waiting is an album that rewards with multiple plays as a whole.
