Gunna is the most boring, and generic rapper in the game, and his debut album Drip of Drown 2 is no exception. This Album gets boring very fast after like 4 tracks. His hooks, his bars, and his flows are not interesting at all, every track has the same sound, except the last track which sound completely different that the last 15 tracks. There's really not much to talk about in this boringGunna is the most boring, and generic rapper in the game, and his debut album Drip of Drown 2 is no exception. Literally the most boring album i've ever heard, if someone was pointing a gun at gunna and told him to be more energetic he would just pull the trigger by himself. Awful performance by gunna, bad hooks, boring beats, he sounds like he woke up from a coma and someone forced him to rap.

Zzzzzzz Gunna has the most boring performance you can ask for. He sounds the same in all the tracks. Bored no charisma whatsoever. There is actually some decent music but Gunna kills it with his boring performance. Mediocre album at best.

The first leg of Drip or Drown 2 is tolerable thanks to its aquatic aesthetic, but the album quickly devolves into mega-formulaic trap rap devoid of any character.

    FAV TRACKS: OUTSTANDING, ONE CALL

LEAST FAV TRACK: WHO YOU FOOLIN

This was a pretty unlistenable, generic, boring and useless album. Gunna has some decent beats to rap over but he is too talentless to make the most of them. His performance here makes his performance on Drip Harder look like Biggie.

Some of the best beats I’ve heard on a rap album this year. A really strong step forward for gunna.

This is Wheezy and Turbo's album as much as it is Gunna's. Yea Gunna is predictable and undynamic. But his vocals are just a part of the instrumental at this point. The cadence of wheezy/Turbo beats combined with Gunna's melodies mix together so **** well. It's hypnotizing.

One of the worst albums of 2019. Very boring. Was pretty disappointing. Gunna is a better featured artist then a single artist
Best tracks: Speed it up, Big shot, one call, IDK why

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This album has 0 skips. Richard Millie Plain, Outstanding, On A Mountain, Cash War and Who You Foolin lead the way as songs that could stay on repeat for me. Gunna has a way of making you feel good, almost like you’re in the studio making the songs with him. Expand

Amazing album - aquatic vibes throughout the album. Very poignant album examining Gunna’s upcomings, trials and tribulations coming up from Atlanta.

So many tracks slip through your consciousness, particularly with how much he sticks to the formula of chorus/verse/chorus/verse/chorus. His dullness sucks the life out of typically energetic guests like Playboi Carti, whose feature is less Die Lit and more Diluted.

Ultimately, Gunna sticks to his guns and delivers a solid effort that lives up to all the hype. He may not be the most innovative MC, but he continues to craft great bodies of work, which is what will cement his career, at the end of the day.

Gunna has a penchant for rapping over beats that include guitar, like on “Richard Millie Plain,” but he doesn’t use them for rock scabrousness. Instead, they’re caressing, soft-edged beds, elegant accompaniment for a rapper who makes his points with textures more than words. That said, there is a tenderness that peeks through here, not just in the gentleness of the sing-rapping, but also in some of the lyrics.
