Oct 28, 2016Carly brings emotion tracks 80, strong vocals, catchy melodies and amazing lyrics. Certainly a major milestone in his musical career and a work of art in the midst of so many generic songs that marked the pop in recent years.

Feb 15, 2017Like always Carly Rae Jepsen makes another amazing album of songs she wrote with her heart. This is the best Pop album of 2015. All of the songs are amazing on the album but my favorites are Your Type and Boy Problems. :):):):)

Nov 20, 2020E•MO•TION is one of the best pop albums that I have had the opportunity to listen to. There are no bad songs on this album.

Sep 30, 2015I'm not really a fan of Call Me Maybe. I found it kind of annoying and repetitive, another song from a one-hit wonder. E-MO-TION shows how very wrong I was. This is one of the best pop albums of the year, and it absolutely deserves the success of Call Me Maybe. It's much, much better.

Aug 22, 2015Best album of the year so far! Really good pop music.
Best songs: Run Away with Me, Making The Most Of The Night, E•MO•TION, All That, Your Type. -

Oct 26, 2015With this album Jepsen proves she is one of today's best pop artists. Written all by herself, E•MO•TION has deep lyrics with a fresh 80's sound that makes you want to sing along all the songs. Definitely one of the best albums of 2015, and in my opinion the best one in the Pop genre. It's a pity that, this album and her as an artist, are so underrated.

Dec 12, 2015E•MO•TION is a perfectly crafted masterpiece. From the stunning saxophone that opens the album on 'Run Away With Me' all the way to the ending of 'Favourite Colour' absolutely amazing.

Apr 10, 2016This album is so underrated. Call Me Maybe has completely overshadowed this album. When I first heard Run Away With Me, I was blown away by how amazing it was. It is such a shame that it didn't even reach the charts! Honestly, this album deserves so much more recognition.
-
Aug 21, 2015She's doing '80s throwback better than some of the original pop ladies. Every track is unique and catchy, while also substantial. Highlights include: Boy Problems, Your Type, Making the Most of the Night.

Aug 22, 2015Best pop album so far in the year and third best album overall behind Bjork's Vulnicura and Kendrick's To Pimp a Butterfly. This is truly the best work by Carly Rae Jepsen ever, and it'll be hard to best this one.
-
Aug 23, 2015This emotion (i feel it). That's the only way to describe this album. Carly Rae Jepsen is an underrated pop genius. Never Get To Hold You, Gimmie Love, Warm Blood, +the rest of the album are the best ones. This one, and 1989 are the best pop albums from the last 3/4 years.

Aug 24, 2015By far the best pop album released in 2015 and also in recent years. Carly really proved herself with this album, transitioning from the generic pop of Kiss (while still enjoyable,) she moves on to a range of pop styles; from 80's inspired synthpop and disco with some modern pop. An all around strong album, hope she continues on this cycle of focusing more on quality than success!
-
Aug 27, 2015Overall, this is a superb album. I can listen to the songs over and over and they don't get old. The whole album is so cohesive with a great sonic range. This is an amazing modern pop accomplishment.
-
Aug 25, 2015She don't need no masks. She don't need no pretension. That's exactly what she does: bubblegum pop music, and she's doing it BIG! She's really exposing some emotion in this album, I can perfectly feel her girl feelings about life, love and stuff. Congrants on Carly Rae Jepsen for making Teen Pop alive!

Aug 21, 2015I love all of the songs on this album especially Let's Get Lost and When I Needed You! Those two are my favorite songs from this great album. There are no bad songs on this album. Definitely best Pop Album of the Year!

Apr 24, 2017She doesn’t do anything to stamp her identity on the songs: good as they are, you’re struck by the sense you could be listening to anyone. It’s one problem that all the expensive names in the credits can’t solve, a single glaring imperfection in an album of otherwise perfect pop.
-
Jun 1, 2016E MO TION is no fluke. It doesn’t grip you by the heels but instead lures you into a full-bodied embrace that is iron-clad, it’s simply up to you to give it the chance to do so.
-
Sep 25, 2015Emotion succeeds on its own terms, arguably remaining truer to the spirit of the era, not to mention Jepsen’s stated aim of taking the time to craft an album rather than rushing to cash in on a YouTube sensation.
