EOB is Ed O'Brien, yes, Radiohead's guitarist that presents his first album as a soloist that is more decent than what was thought off. There is a lot of experimentation and Ambient in the music. Most of the tracks have a spatial narrative, like trying to tell the history of a place. EOB shows his own voice and sings about his essence. There is a game of rhythms that comes from the melodic and solid to the ambient and Experimental. Therefore the album is a soft and, sometimes, entertaining sail through vast and bleak places full of mystery and emotion. Produced by Flood and Catherine Marks, "Earth" is the accurate soundtrack to the curious, the adventurous, and those who find peace in the exploration.

Great voice, music and atmosphere overall. Chill, cheerful, beautiful and calm songs are just right for self-isolation and home-office work. Thank you Ed!

A nice album overall, great instrumentals with attention to detail, nicely produced but some lyrics are not great. The music creates a very nice and enjoyable atmosphere.

As it stands, Earth is a subtle and enjoyable little singer/songwriter album that highlights Ed O’Brien’s songwriting prowess.

At times it almost feels like an alternate-history tendril of pre-Kid A Radiohead that kept its groove going into the coming decades. While those layered textures, pulsing beats, and unfolding guitar loops are fine, it's EOB as a reflective acoustic singer/songwriter that provides Earth's most authentic moments.

Tasteful, tentatively adventurous post-Britpop record that would’ve gotten sandwiched between Elbow and South on a “next Radiohead” listicle 20 years ago.
