    The first three tracks {Car Chase in particular] are great but the rest of the album disappoints. Pretty Awful is aptly titled although really awful would be better. The Do That and Dirty Murky Delight are so bad it's hard to fathom how they made it onto the album.

    Here Lydon has ideas and sounds focused on making them into something, and he has a band capable of giving him all the support he needs. It's not entirely successful, but it's not lazy, either, and at this stage of Lydon's career (and given a very trying situation at home), that's to be commended.

    In conclusion, half an album here marks some of Lydon’s best work in decades and a half that should have never left band practice.
