    not good, not bad. Pretty much what you'd expect as you hear uzi rehash the same on liners. Production is pretty good but lacking in lyrics

    Before this album, I tried all of Uzi's albums. I didn't like them at all. I wanted to like him, but just didn't. I wasn't expecting anything good from this album, but it pleasantly surprised me. This is his best album. I don't like autotune (I think it's fine only if used a small amount), so because Uzi uses a lot of autotune, I was expecting to absolutely hate the album, if just that.Before this album, I tried all of Uzi's albums. I didn't like them at all. I wanted to like him, but just didn't. I wasn't expecting anything good from this album, but it pleasantly surprised me. This is his best album. I don't like autotune (I think it's fine only if used a small amount), so because Uzi uses a lot of autotune, I was expecting to absolutely hate the album, if just that. Surprisingly enough, I didn't care. The album was enjoyable enough that I barely even noticed the autotune. I usually hate autotune, but I think it was easy to forget about in this album. Not every song is amazing in fact I'd say only about half to 2/3, but the worst songs are just alright and forgettable and the best songs (and I'd say basically all of the good songs) are REALLY good. The biggest problem with this album, though, was the wait. While I think this was a really good album, it definitely wasn't good enough for the long wait to this album, If you make people wait this long for an album, you need to make it your best work, because the longer to await an album, the more their expectations go up, and just don't think the album lives up to those high expectations.… Expand

    The album overall was listenable, I don’t see myself listening to it again though, most tracks were repetitive and had really corny lyricism.

    Uzi does not miss EVER, this album is the de facto album of the year. Uzi's lyrical ingenuity, hooks, and the beats behind the songs on EA is impeccable.

    Eternal Atake is the perfect example of how hype controls the audiences perception of quality. Lil Uzi has hyped this album up for years and it finally dropped, now if you're a Lil Uzi Vert fan, you must be pretty excited for this right? So you listen to it and it sounds great! Until you listen to it a 2nd, 3rd or even 4th time before realizing Uzi is rapping about the same surface levelEternal Atake is the perfect example of how hype controls the audiences perception of quality. Until you listen to it a 2nd, 3rd or even 4th time before realizing Uzi is rapping about the same surface level things on nearly every song on this album. The beats and production on this album are thrown together and not really aesthetically pleasing in the slightest. I pointed to this earlier but it feels as though Uzi hasn't grown with his lyricism at all since his 2017 project. Rapping about bands, foreign whips, and bad lil **** on nearly every single song. While there are some good beats on this album (Prices, Secure the Bag) as I said they are all interchangeable with each other so a lot of the tracks sound the same. I personally do think that Uzi is the most overrated rapper in the game right now. I'm not saying he's bad but what I am saying is he hasn't done anything to warrant this amount of praise from the music community. I felt as though the sound that Lil Uzi has and the brand that he has created with that sound did not match how long the tracks were on this album. Nearly all of these tracks are three minutes long and while I was listening to this my third time through, heck even on my first time through I noticed that I was always waiting for the songs to cut off shorter. And I don't have a short attention span or anything but, I just felt as though Uzi was buying time to get to that 3 minute mark and I'm not exactly sure why. One thing should be made clear though, I did not hate this album, I just think a lot of what this album did was very average to below average which is very disappointing considering all of the hype this project got before even being released. When you boil it down this is a collection of songs with average lyrics, average beats, and average storytelling and for that reason Eternal Atake gets a 5/10.… Expand

For a non-uzi fan it's too long and is similar sounding which adds to the run time. Tbh, Uzi didn't make this project for fans of rap he made it more fans of him.     Im sorry to say that, but this album is not good, i gave it 5 because of couple songs that u might listen time to time, on this album literally everything sound the same, same flow, same beats, same **** Lil Uzi ran out of ideas and thats how this album sounds

    I don't get the hype. It's an ok trap album but nothing more. Not that creative despite the bright album cover. It just doesn't do anything special. I like UZI, but after three years this was underwhelming. No real progression as an artist and uninspiring lyrics.     I don't get it. There sure is much more exciting rappers out there, to get interested by this over blown record. Maybe they like the guy. Maybe they like it when it's funny. Nicolas Cage funny.

    This is 2020's version of "DS2". Not too personal like DS2 but its still one of the most cohesive Rap/Trap albums of time. In "Bigger Than Life" he raps "Okay... my life is great". Thats true... This album is a big proof

    This album is over hyped and not criticized enough. It has some serious problems and seems like just a bunch of rap songs somewhat themed into aliens and space. Then the deluxe is just 2 unrelated albums out together.

    Dude, clean or just change your ears, this **** is garbage, i tried to be open minded with this but wow this is crap, never gonna understand the hype for this mumble rappers outside of 21 savage or travis scott, this goes out for critics too, how tf could this be a 89% by now, you tellin me that this **** is at the level of big fish theory or run the jewels 2?     The album has its moments, but Uzi’s over usage of this abrasive flow & production that isn’t very melodic; is an odd departure from past projects & falls flat.

    This album is a total disappointment after 2 and a half years. It lacks theme, uniqueness, sound, it feels inconsistent and just hard to listen. Imo a total disaster after Luv Is Rage 2. Of course it has some bangers, but mist of the songs seem boring and repetitive. Not cool Uzi, not cool all those fake critics review that gave this album a 100...

    One of the most boring and overhyped projects I’ve ever heard. I liked most of Uzi’s earlier music but this is all so lazy and repetitive that I haven’t bothered to listen to it for fun outside of the first week

    This album is an excellent progression in Lil Uzi’s discography that cements his role as one of the best currently working rappers. A concept album about his rise to fame he just hits it out of the park with exciting pop tracks.

    Even though it's a long album divided into 3 sections (Uzi's personas) it's very cohesive and fluid. There isn't a bad song on the album- all of them are quite frankly hip hop excellence.

    The flows are some of the best of 2020&perhaps this decade . Confident, high concept, versatile and cohesive. Lil Uzi dares to challenge any detractors who view trap as merely mumbling set to a beat. He tells actual stories and drops some of the funniest punchlines in recent history since Danny Brown. Favourites:silly watch, P2,ventia,that way, futsal shuffle

    Lil Uzi Vert is one of these artists I love to hear but I am disgusted by the half-effort he constantly puts in his albums.     Lil Uzi Vert is one of these artists I love to hear but I am disgusted by the half-effort he constantly puts in his albums. Just as 'Luv Is Rage 2', 'Eternal Atake' benefits from a outstanding and catchy start (let's say the three first tracks). Those smell like originality and good vibes. Things get way less fun after these... Between songs 3 and 13 it's a miserable sequence of unnoticeable work. Lyrics are repetitive, instrumentals are dull and/or painful and Lil Uzi's flow seems the same all along. However I recognize some people (as me) may like two or three of these ten songs but not more. For me it was 'Bigger Than Life' and 'Prices', the other were - at their best - preheated works. Yet this feeling of botched work is less actual in 'Eternal Atake' than in 'Luv Is Rage 2'. The classic subjects are all here: money, bad girls treated like toys (please we're in 2020), fancy cars and being the biggest in the rap game...
    Again, as for 'Luv Is Rage 2', this project has a really good ending, with five striking songs including one that is a pale remix of an old success (quite a shame).
    Compared to his late projects, the artist clearly lost major and unmissable collaborations. We waited (among others) at least Future, Playboi Carti, The Weeknd Quavo, Travis Scott and/or one of the A$AP Mob!    … Expand

If you are listening Lil Uzi since LIR2 you can clearly tell that with EA heSo, after 2 years and something, Lil Uzi's most awaited album finally arrived. Did it live up to the expectations? In my perspective, yes. Uzi delivers a solid, enjoyable and fluid project. A lot of people have been saying that Uzi did not innovated his sound at all during this years, in my opinion this is wrong. If you are listening Lil Uzi since LIR2 you can clearly tell that with EA he is a lot more consistent with his voice, while with the previous album he sounded monotone and really repetitive. Back to EA, a crucial part is played by the instrumental, the thing that probably surprised me the most: really catchy and creative. The songs flow smoothly from one to the other. The ony fact that is true is that in this album there isn't any sort of "particular" song which stands out compared to the others (the only exception might be P2), but, honestly, that's up to you and your style.
    In conclusion, i did really enjoy this album, it's Uzi's best project since LUV vs The World back in 2016. Very catchy and, honestly, enjoyable. I'm pretty sude, if it didn't got hyped all that much, people would like this album as much as i did.

    Unoriginal and uninteresting. Same thematic themes about how rich Uzi is and girls he's getting with. Poor samples and vocals. Lazy effort trying to pass off his biggest hit with a worse rendtion as "Part 2".

    So disappointing, and wasn’t worth the wait, like it didn’t have that 2016 that we all wanted, it was more like new uzi trying to back bring the 2016 vibe but it didn’t go quite well and the lyrics were just so nonsense and bad!

    Eternal Atake is a great trap album from Uzi. It's fun, it's ignorant and it's got great production. The only problem I have is the songs Bust Me and You Better Move. Neither of them are bad, I just find them quite boring. Those are the only songs that I'm not a fan of. Overall, great album, Can't wait to see what he releases next.

    So, let me take a guess. Embarrassed that they dismissed/ignored Rodeo, have decided to throw their weight behind every overhyped trap album on the off-chance that they get embarrassed once again.

    Anyways, this album isn't terrible, but it's nothing to write home about. Just a fairly mediocre listener. A handful of decent tracks, nothing much else to say.

    I was a huge fan of luv is rage 2 with probably 3/4 of it being on my playlist for a significant amount of time and I really enjoyed that album with diverse beats and flows, and a lot of emotion. Needless to say, I was excited to hear that EA had dropped earlier than initially had been claimed. I quickly listened to it and about halfway through the album I thought to myself “wow, I can honestly say I haven’t liked a single song yet”. For me this could very well be the most disappointing album drop I’ve ever heard. I have no clue how in 3 years of making this album, Uzi managed to have the most generic, terribly mixed beats and average production, not to mention the absolutely horrendous lyrics that would otherwise not have mattered to me (I don’t listen to uzi for lyrics, I know better) if only the beats hadn’t been so uninteresting and poorly mixed. The deluxe version of the album finally brings maybe 4 or 5 good songs, most of which are only good because the featured artist carried the song (21 savage on yessirskiii, chief keef on bean(kobe), and somehow even nav manages to carry uzi on his own album that took 3 years). The only interesting melody that has ever made me want to revisit this album was myron. It’s really mindblowing to me how so many people can say that this is album of the year when this is honestly in my opinion, one of the worst albums I’ve heard in a while and easily the worst uzi album with very few high points and low points being about 90% of the album. Maybe this is die lit all over again where I really just don’t get what makes the album appealing, although I generally don’t particularly like carti, whereas I went into this album liking uzi the most I’ve ever liked him hot off the release of lir2 which was a very solid album. Either way, this album definitely does not live up to the hype and I doubt I’ll be revisiting it any time soon. 4 listens of the album was all my ears could handle.… Expand

    The production is crazy, but the style and lyrics are lazy. Tracks like P2 is like XO Tour No Llif3 and it doesn't make sense. Not worth the hype, neither the wait. It's not a must but you have to listen it.

    A poor attempt of creating music, but a great attempt of gathering masses of poor tasted children. Album seems more of a combine cluster of throw away songs, non of which have any real value. Overhyped and genuine garbage mess of a project.

    The flows that Uzi has brakes the album into 3 different parts based on the character he is playing. Baby Pluto, the first character, is trap. Renji, the second, is more melodic. And Uzi, the third, uses his original flow. Altogether the album is incredibly made with skits at the end of songs and it uses them to make the songs flow together as if they are one.

    Best rap album this year, 6.9 here on user rating cause it was overhated when it dropped. It’s grown on the hater and is definitley the best rap album this year

    Overrated, overhyped and I never understood the hype. The album had some solid tracks of course but that’s about it. It’s a bland, and annoying album.

    this is a pretty good album it has the same typical uzi sound to it so i cant really say its original, but the lyrics are good and the beats are very catchy

    This is truly a bad album, the rhymes are pretty weak and it doesn't give any worse other than the autotune and the identical beats used. The only good aspect of this album is the theme of the albums, the album does give life with some of the songs. But no better than the rest of other Trap artist.

    It's an amazing record from Uzi. The production and raps sound awesome. Even if there's only one feature, Uzi clearly doesn't need any. This album was so good.

Atake is arguably clearly his best work so far and has a unique theme of extraterrestrial activity throughout the end and beginnings of songs, and most obviously the cover. From the song Baby Pluto to Homecoming, Uzi has impeccable flow and beats from Working On Dying. Out of all the songs, Homecoming is perfect with a crazy flowCan't believe I've heard some people don't like this album.     If you absolutely can not stand rappers who should be called singers then you need to take a hard pass on Vert, but if you occasionally (or more often than that) enjoy the crooning, Vert is at least someone who can put it together in a way that is surprisingly decent and occasionally quite good.

    There is no denying Lil Uzi Vert’s unconventional version of rap has been polarizing for the better part of the last five years yet Eternal Atake should be celebrated. He maneuvers within the cockpit of his comfort zone, navigating a galaxy of different genres while keeping the essence of rap at the forefront.
