I have always liked Jason's music, I have always liked all songs on his albums, however this album is not to my liking, I only like 3 songs on this album "Want you to want me", "X2CU" and "Trade Hearts", the rest all felt like album fillers just thrown in there to make up an album, really hoping his next project impresses me!

Delusion, i'm always kind voting him because i always hope in a improvement, but this time he do a step back from his previous album. The best songs of the album are "Want to Want Me" and "Love Me Down" are f*cking identical, they're good disco songs. Another good track is "Cheyenne", it's original for his electro-funk beats. the rest of the album is badly produced and boring. Would have scored less, but the name "Everything is 4" saved this album from a certain 0.

    I'll give it a 4, instead.

For all its blatantly ill-conceived moments, there's something charming about the sheer audacity of Derulo's often bizarre choices. Even when it falls flat, there is character here.

On Everything Is 4, some songs give him newfound definition, but then others distract from it.

Occasionally, the more ambitious nature of Everything Is 4 reveals some of Derulo's weaknesses, like his insistence on indulging straight R&B (which feels basic compared to the unique mode of genre-bending he usually works in), but stretching musically also leads to arguably the most exciting moment here, the funk rave-up of album-closer "X2CU."
