Starting with the visceral vocals provided by Tonra, this Album immerses you completely in its atmospheric guitar and keeps you engaged with sad and remorseful lyrics that embrace the alienating experiences exposed by Tonra in this album. Amazingly, none of the songs seem out of theme nor far from home. At its core, this album rings true to the amazing work done by Tonra over the years.

Its like a chronicle, sung by a ex-lover who is more worried about herself then her ex. Very sad, but incredibly written and melodically built.

She stands sonically naked, palettes limited and claustrophobic in their unrelenting mono-focus, in this fascinating but demanding debut. [Feb 2019, p.91]

In spite of an occasional sense of deja vu, this is a spacious, raw record that sees Tonra trying something new while holding on to the core that's propelled her thus far. [Feb 2019, p.111]

The overall effect is immersive, wallowing, sad but often beautiful. [Feb 2019, p.27]
