Oh I am sorry but this is not a good album. But they instead kept making him sing outside his range and it really is not a good sound. it is so unfair of companies to do that to artists, its their job to look after the artists under them. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Basic Kpop album has nothing special, raw or warm to offer unlike albums from his band members RM or Jhope's previous debuts. He shows some attempts but they fall flat just pretending to be intimate but following basic formula and not being personal enough unlike it's claim to show his real "Face" He still has long way to go or he will only be just another idol who dances well that's all. good luck for his next project, hope he can show a more personal side of him next time Expand

I'm quite disappointed by this album, had great expectations for Jimin to finally debut with a solo album but it falls short in all senses. Don't understand why people are calling it a bold move, for me it was rather conservative as it doesn't offer anything Jimin hasn't already done with BTS.

Face-off and Alone are very forgettable songs. Set Me Free Pt. 2 could have been a great song

Face-off and Alone are very forgettable songs. Set Me Free Pt. 2 could have been a great song but I don't know who decided to put so much autotune in it, it physically hurts the ears and makes it unbearable to listen, outside of that the song could've been part of Map Of The Soul: 7 album not really something I see as bold or unique, he's done it all before.

The title track, Like Crazy is actually a really good but it feels out of place surrounded by all the other bland songs. It's the perfect song to drive to at midnight with the windows down. Loved the 80's vibe of the music, it's very danceable and the lyrics are quite catchy. I wished the album didn't eclipsed how good this song actually is.

Overall I think Jimin failed to show new sides of him as the boldest thing he does with this album is cursing or letting a woman caress his face in the Like Crazy choreography. The album was supposed to showcase his true authentic self but for me it felt really forced and unnatural, nothing wrong with having songs with lyrics that aren't specific to a real situation but the marketing pointed to be a very honest album and this was not it.
Previous solo songs have been more outstanding, Lie or Filter for example, and have actually shown new sides of him.
If this album proves anything is that Jimin is still green as a solo artist and has a long way to go.

While it’s a short EP, it doesn’t disappoint. If anything, he presents himself as a soloist with an unexpected sound for his high-pitched countertenor voice and very far from those earlier ballads we have heard from him.

Balancing both his vulnerable and fiercely intense sides, he manages to reveal more of himself in 20 minutes than he has to date.

Its six tracks wrap all too quickly, and while it was specified that Jimin doesn’t consider this a full-length project, it does leave the listener craving more music in this vein somewhere down the road — it’s worth repeating that the energy of “Face-off” is one that he should consider chasing most of all.
