    This album is a beautiful taster. While it is short it showcases the undeniable talent Jimin has. Incredible vocals, meaningful lyrics, etc. Like Crazy is a song I wish I could listen to on the radio but alas radio is too out of the loop and outdated to accept what people like.

    Jimin's first solo album FACE takes you on a journey of emotions as he tells a story of his pains and struggles during the last few years; but in the end with the song "Set Me Free pt 2" he battles through all the hate and negativity around him and overcomes it all.

Set me Free pt 2 is an auditory experience with tasteful sprinkling of autotune. If you watch the mv the performance is mind blowing. It really is a song that needs that visual experience on top of auditory. Like crazy the title track is a nostalgic synth dance track that is so catchy and hypnotizining. My other favorite track is Alone, jimin's angelic and haunting vocals… Expand

Face is a very personal piece of work and one thats told cohesively, there's a clear story here and its told beautifully.     This album took me completely off gaurd in the best way possible. Like crazy is a garenteed summer hit that will linger for years to come. Face off is my personal favorite.

    Jimin did an amazing job, although it is a short album, it had a beginning, middle and end, the lyrics are deep and he showed his vocal power in addition to showing his rap, Jimin's voice is very unique, I listen to the album all the time full day and without skipping a track

    Jimin’s solo is definitely my favorite among all the BTS members. I was pleasantly surprised, Like crazy is actually a really good song. Usually when BTS sings in English it’s very…. Sesame Street-esque…. but this was actually a really good introspective album Face off set a beautiful tone to the album and I liked how he kept the subject matter of songs the same even if the genre wasJimin’s solo is definitely my favorite among all the BTS members.     I’m in love with “Like Crazy” is so perfect for every thinkable situation, but “Face Off”, OMG don’t sleep on that one, it’s beautiful. “Alone” has a distinct experience when you listen to it too. AND of course, “Set Me Free” what an anthem, I wish everyone could listen to it. It’s a game changer.     Every single song is a work of art to me. Jimin worked hart on it and it shows, I enjoy the themes, lyrics, the melodies and how the ep tells his story. Also, congratulations for the n 1 on the hot 100!

    There's truly no need for an album review when you could listen to it for yourself. Face is a masterpiece. Listen to it, and you'll know. Jimin's voice is one of the most unique and captivating voices I've heard. My favorite song on this album is: Alone. PS: buying artists' music should be the norm if you'd like your artist to keep making art. So, pick up a cd while you're at it. ;)

He presents a complete narrative arc detailing the confusion and self-doubt brought on by the pandemic, an emotional journey so many of us can relate to.     Jimins first ever solo album is refreshing. His distinct voice added color to a storytelling of his personal struggles and realizations. Even if one will not bother learning the lyrics and understanding the prose of his artistry, still, one will not find it hard to enjoy the album tracks. They are a bop.

    Intriguing and hypnotic listen from start to end. The sound engineering is tight and Jimin's vocals were delicious in the sense that no other singer could have sang on these songs instead to this effect. The journey of Jimin processing his emotions (felt during the pandemic) from the first song up till his victorious release by the end of the album was satisfying.     Love Jimin in his element! His ability to convey how he felt at the beginning and thoughout the pandemic was amazing, so relatable and his message came full circle by the end. Love that he made use of his lower register that I appreciate so much. Favorite b-side-only because I can't pick them all is "Alone". I listen to this album religiously and can't wait to see what's next.

    Face is Jimin’s First solo Album and to say that he devoured would be an understatement. I love Albums that tell a story when you listen to them in a row and this is exactly what Face does. Jimin wrote 5/6 songs in this album and has poured all his feelings that he felt during the Covid 19 Pandemic into this album. Face-Off immediately catches the listeners attention and the instrumental is stunning! The interlude while not technically a song is enjoyable to hear because you can hear Jimin talk during a concert and when he addressed the crowd you can just feel the happiness in his voice. The next track Like Crazy is so full of emotions about want to just hide away from reality because it to painful; almost like dropping into a dream. Jimin has given a tiny peek into his true self and emotions. Set Me Free Pt.2 is a look into another side of Jimin that his fans don't get to see very often. His emotions seems to hit a breaking point in this song and he's setting himself free. Free of other's expectations, judgment and the needless hate from his haters. He quite literally tells them to **** off! The artistic use of auto tune gives a nice touch to the song. Like Crazy English Version is the final track on his EP. Much like it's Korean counter part, it showcases Jimin's emotions so well. Now if you listen to the physical CD of this album then you'll actually find a hidden track called Letters. It seems most fitting that he's given his ARMY a secret little gift. A song genuinely meant for his fans and for nobody else's judgement. A fellow group member, Jungkook, lends his voice for background vocals which blend so well with Jimin's countertenor voice. This song is probably the most raw and emotional you'll ever hear Jimin get. It's a completely outstanding album. I look forward to more solo work from Jimin!… Expand

O fato do Jimin está envolvido em todo o processo de criação de Face talvez seja o que o tornou tão bom pelo fato dele está nos contando sua própria história e não só interpretando uma criação de outros. Face fez vale a pena a espera de 10 anos por um projeto solo do Jimin.Face é um album incrível do início ao fim e nos permite conhecer mais sobre quem é Jimin a pessoa e não só o artista. Each record production being different from the previous one helps thread this heartfelt story, leaving a feeling of fulfillment and at the same time open end/to be continued.

    Honestly, this album exceeded my expectations! Not many tracks but it's like making a trip from the first one to the last...yes, the very last one, that beautiful ghost track! You can listen to daily sounds, '80's vibes, dance, rap, synt...and the effort and hard work that Jimin himself put in the production of this album is unmatched!!

    This entire album is a masterpiece representing Jimin's personal emotional journey over the past few years. There isn't a song to skip throughout. I can't get enough of this insanely talented artist and his equally amazing debut album!

    I really enjoyed this album and the flow. I'm in my 40's and the songs are relevant to me now, but also gave me a feeling of nostalgia, which is unusual in a lot of modern music. I liked that the different songs have different vibes and that the album as a whole tells a story. I would have loved more songs, mostly because I love the ones included and it just ends all too soon for me.I really enjoyed this album and the flow.     Amazing voice, lyrics and beats!!!
    He did an amazing job with his first solo album!!!
    I am so glad he released it.
    Every song have a different vibe but they tell stories, beautiful stories!!!
    Love what he did in Set Me Free Pt.2, how he was changing his voice to tell us his story, how he was facing his old self and telling him that he's free now from all the hates from alk his fears and insecurities.Love it!!!
    And for the main track like crazy, I loved the sound and the vibe of it, the lyrics suit the vibes perfectly and jimin voice always make the song even more ethereal.
    And for "Alone" it was an emotional, it really touched my heart and jimin said he wrote it during the pandemic which make it even more special and also sad, the lyrics are so relatable:

    The only problem with this album, it actually ends. From the first track till the hidden one is so beautiful, how he tells a story and share his feelings and emotions is so mesmerizing. I LOVED IT

    Wow! Jimin takes us on an emotional journey with his feelings. We start off with Face Off and just wow! The album is a masterpiece to Set Me Free! His vocal range is so amazing and unique! No one is doing it like Park Ji-min! I can’t wait to hear more from him!

    I was very proud of how Jimin's album turned out! It is both self reflective and fun. Like Crazy has an '80's vibe, with great choreo and Jimin's beautiful countertenor voice. I also love Set Me Free for it's majesty as a fight song of sorts! Alone is painfully raw, intimate and poignant. Beautiful work of art, Jimin!

    This is more an EP than an album for me, but even if it is short, is incredible the cohesion of it. In this album He is telling us a story, even the title of every songs gives you info about his story, with a beginning and an end. Is a great album, with really good lyrics. My favorite are: Alone, Like Crazy , Set me free Pt 2 and the beautiful hidden track: letter.

    While it’s a short EP, it doesn’t disappoint. If anything, he presents himself as a soloist with an unexpected sound for his high-pitched countertenor voice and very far from those earlier ballads we have heard from him.

    Its six tracks wrap all too quickly, and while it was specified that Jimin doesn’t consider this a full-length project, it does leave the listener craving more music in this vein somewhere down the road — it’s worth repeating that the energy of “Face-off” is one that he should consider chasing most of all.
