    Jimin surprised everyone with the release of a new album. Jimin offered a fresh viewpoint on the entire music business, not just Kpop. All the songs are wonderful. All individuals who experienced the same things as Jimin can relate to it. The soothing, sweet tone of Jimin's voice is amazing. Jimin's music is something that everyone should hear and enjoy. He is the genre.

    Like the name of the album, "face" tells us about a multifaceted Jimin. Each song in a different style shows us his potential as an artist. I want to see more about this versatility. I am very sure that in the next album we will see more of this. As a person who loves music and different types of music, I felt comfortable in this exploration. It doesn't feel forced.     The way I interpreted the album, based on the lyrics, imagery and what Jimin himself has said; this was an album that touches upon his depression throughout the pandemic as well and his identity. Except for the hidden track (which reads exactly like a love letter), I interpreted the album as him questioning who he is. Rather than alcohol (although it can be part of it, but I found it tooThe way I interpreted the album, based on the lyrics, imagery and what Jimin himself has said; this was an album that touches upon his depression throughout the pandemic as well and his identity. Except for the hidden track (which reads exactly like a love letter), I interpreted the album as him questioning who he is. Rather than alcohol (although it can be part of it, but I found it too on the nose for Jimin), it feels like he used to get drunk on the fame and his work, and not that he was without it he was questioning who he was without it. SMF touches upon how the expectations from outside sources made him suppress a lot of who he was but no longer.

    Like Crazy is very, very queer coded to me, which is not something new for Jimin by the way. The way the woman (both in the MV and the choreo) mirrors him, it feels like a fight between femininity and masculinity, with him embracing both in the end. That, along with the inclusion of Mapplethorpe (which he has referenced before in his photopholio) and a hinted at WLW couple, made me relate a lot. As a queer person, the shot of Jimin standing above a video of people kissing striked me as an image with such loneliness, feeling as if love is unattainable for you, not seeing yourself in any of the images of love out there, being alienated of everything people make love to be...

    No sé como describir la alegría que tuve cuando escuche las canciones de este álbum. Park Jimin siendo un pedazo de artista, un gran vocal que nos hizo volvernos locos con su Set Me Free pt2, y luego nos regaló Like Crazy una canción adictiva.

    Amo Face, es un álbum que siempre estará conmigo.

    I absolutely love this album and have had it on repeat since it came out. I love that we get to hear a vocal range we don't often get to hear from Jimin. I also love how open he was with his struggles. I think we can all relate in one way or another

    Un disco muy emocional, Jimin nos hace sentir todo lo que sintió y pensó en esa época de su vida. Nos transmite el miedo, ansiedad, pero también la esperanza y que el amor lo puede con todo. Todos tenemos 2 caras y el nos enseña a qué es bueno conocerlas y aceptarlas. Me siento tan viva con todas sus canciones y me encantan todas. El mejor álbum de este año.

    Face is a spectacular album. As he explained it shows the painful journey he went through during the pandemic, each song showcases a state of mind, and each of them does it impeccably. The melodies are stunning, and the unique tone of his voice is the cherry on top that makes this album a masterpiece. I'd like to add that I was    I want to congratulate Jimin from the bottom of my heart.

    Jimins first ever solo album is refreshing. His distinct voice added color to a storytelling of his personal struggles and realizations. Even if one will not bother learning the lyrics and understanding the prose of his artistry, still, one will not find it hard to enjoy the album tracks. They are a bop.

Jimin wrote 5/6 songs in this album and has poured all his feelings that he felt during the Covid 19 Pandemic into this album.     Honestly, this album exceeded my expectations! Not many tracks but it's like making a trip from the first one to the last...yes, the very last one, that beautiful ghost track! You can listen to daily sounds, '80's vibes, dance, rap, synt...and the effort and hard work that Jimin himself put in the production of this album is unmatched!!

He said it was kinda like his diary and recommended listening to the album in order as he tells his story in each song.     Amazing voice, lyrics and beats!!!
    He did an amazing job with his first solo album!!!
    I am so glad he released it.
    Every song have a different vibe but they tell stories, beautiful stories!!!
    Love what he did in Set Me Free Pt.2, how he was changing his voice to tell us his story, how he was facing his old self and telling him that he's free now from all the hates from alk his fears and insecurities.Love it!!!
    And for the main track like crazy, I loved the sound and the vibe of it, the lyrics suit the vibes perfectly and jimin voice always make the song even more ethereal.
    And for "Alone" it was an emotional, it really touched my heart and jimin said he wrote it during the pandemic which make it even more special and also sad, the lyrics are so relatable:

    Set Me Free Pt.2 accepting the true face of himself, confronting himself,getting free. Cant hide himself anymore. You still can enjoy songs on its own without diving deep but if you wanna to hear the story Jimin is telling you need to go from top to bottom.     This is more an EP than an album for me, but even if it is short, is incredible the cohesion of it. In this album He is telling us a story, even the title of every songs gives you info about his story, with a beginning and an end. Is a great album, with really good lyrics. My favorite are: Alone, Like Crazy , Set me free Pt 2 and the beautiful hidden track: letter.

    Jimin definitely did not disappoint with his first solo album! Set Me Free Pt2 is a true anthem in every sense of the word. The flow between songs is perfect, and Jimin's voice is incredible!

    There aren’t enough words to describe this album. A different side to Park Jimin was not only explored, but embraced in this work. From Face Off to Set Me Free, a raw and relatable story is presented. This album exceeded expectations with a tone and vibe only fitting Jimin.

    Face is the road that jimin walked in for the bast three years, it is very personal but at the same time, jimin descriped a feelings that can be related to any human being in this world,, and that's why this Album must be in the top for all time.
    It is really a healing album with amazing kyrics and melodies just like a dream.

    Long awaited music album by my favourite member of BTS - Jimin. He has such a unique voice and charisma, and I could not resist and fell in love with these songs and JIMIN once again.

    The single Set Me Free Pt. 2 is so powerful, Like Crazy is so dreamy and fun (and a nice one to sing along, especially the English version), but I absolutely adore the other songs too - Alone, Face-Off and    Long awaited music album by my favourite member of BTS - Jimin. He has such a unique voice and charisma, and I could not resist and fell in love with these songs and JIMIN once again.

    The single Set Me Free Pt. 2 is so powerful, Like Crazy is so dreamy and fun (and a nice one to sing along, especially the English version), but I absolutely adore the other songs too - Alone, Face-Off and Interlude: Dive which is even not really a song but still. All those songs were charting in my country’s iTunes, so I’m not the only one to think so :) The only thing I’m sad about is not being able to listen to the precious gem of a song, Letter, on every streaming platforms. But this is our BTS and ARMY thing to leave hidden love messages to each other, so…)

    I would end my review with the quote of Yoongi (SUGA) if BTS: “You’ll definitely like BTS’ music if you listen to it without prejudice”. So please give it a listen. It’s worth it     … Expand

    FACE is the best album released in the year 2023 so far. It speaks about how the artist Jimin felt during pandemic when the world came to an absolute halt, hence very relatable to most of us too. Overall, it's gonna be your favourite album for a really really long time.

    I was very proud of how Jimin's album turned out! It is both self reflective and fun. Like Crazy has an '80's vibe, with great choreo and Jimin's beautiful countertenor voice. I also love Set Me Free for it's majesty as a fight song of sorts! Alone is painfully raw, intimate and poignant. Beautiful work of art, Jimin!

    While it’s a short EP, it doesn’t disappoint. If anything, he presents himself as a soloist with an unexpected sound for his high-pitched countertenor voice and very far from those earlier ballads we have heard from him.

    Its six tracks wrap all too quickly, and while it was specified that Jimin doesn’t consider this a full-length project, it does leave the listener craving more music in this vein somewhere down the road — it’s worth repeating that the energy of “Face-off” is one that he should consider chasing most of all.
