Oct 16, 2020its probably the best 2020 album, this is a masterpiece and deserves to win so many awards. it’s incredible how she wrote all these songs in her bedroom, she’s such a great artist and this album blessed my heart

Nov 6, 2020A very nice sounding and well produced album with beautiful mixtures of grunge and bedroom pop, however there is no ground breaking new sounds pushed forward on the album instead it reminisces on the past making it at points sound less original or heard before

Oct 24, 2020Time machine back to the 90’s. Great music! My favorite song is Sorry, a very moody and beautiful song with a very interesting chord progression and melody.

Oct 16, 2020i like this album because i like bea in general but i’m a bit disappointed. i found it very weak lyrically, and there were a lot of repetitions and similarities to her older songs. kinda just feels like an extension of loveworm and space cadet :/

Oct 16, 2020The best album this year, one of the best debuts I’ve ever heard, Bea truly brings all the emotion, nostalgia and a perfectly pictured coming of age feel, standouts are Worth It, Dye It Red, Horen Sarrison & Together, a perfect album

Oct 16, 2020Best thing that’s ever been released. I cried. Listened to it three times. I’m in shock. This is the soundtrack to my life, Bea is beyond talented I don’t even know how to speak English anymore. This album has hit my soul and anyone listening needs to appreciate the gift she has given us. Too gassed to see it live.

Oct 16, 2020It’s Avril meets Hole meets Wolf Alice. It’s New Wave meets grunge meets pop-punk meets indie. Dreamy, beautiful, serene, moody - it’s an excellent debut record and perfect for the grayer, colder months ahead.

Oct 22, 2020Fake It Flowers won’t blaze any new trails and beabadoobee is a far cry from a pioneer, but for a brief moment in the sun, her debut is both gratifying and immediate. There’s no reason not to bask in it.
-
Oct 21, 2020Taken all together, Fake It Flowers is a resoundingly confident and addictive debut from someone who sounds like she’s ready to take on the world.

Oct 20, 2020Just as judging the past from the present can be a fraught undertaking, weighing up the throwback 90s indie du jour by the standards of the decade itself is probably unfair too, but you wish Beabadoobee could muster a little more period-perfect surliness.
