Jul 17, 2020It is a decent folk record. The beginning and closing of the album are strong and adventures but in the middle, it gets weaker as the same ideas are repeated. There is nothing bad here. Very simple and atmospheric. Someone with an interest in nordic folk might enjoy it more than me.

Mar 20, 2020Across 12 tracks, it does get a little samey, but then again, individual songs aren’t the entire point here. This is a record that creates an atmosphere around itself, a world of its own, without sounding twee or like something from a real ale festival. A curio, maybe, but a heartfelt and skilfully realised one from a genuinely unique artist.
