    Even though it’s a little difficult to take in all the information at once, after connecting the dots and catching all the references it makes perfect sense. Lyrically it’s her best album, not only vocabulary-wise but also as a storyline. Sonically it was something new for her and I’m glad that she experimented with her new sound.     I will never be over this album. The production is exquisite but what takes centre stage is the incredible song writing. I have also discovered a new found love for Taylor’s vocals! She has this lovely, almost ethereal voice that makes me feel like I’m lying on a cloud. Oh and track seven made me sob lol

Relating other's stories to herself, referencing her own life, creating a love triangle, writing about her ups and downs. The songs on this album might not be catchy but certainly growers.     This album, although very different from what Taylor has previously done, is exactly what you’d expect from matured Taylor. The lyricism is beyond perfection. The entire album tells a vivid story and all the tracks correspond together. She’s managed to do something totally different, yet be herself.

    I have been a fan for a while and I have to say that is a bit of a different Taylor, although 2020 was apparently not depressing enough lets throw Folklore in it as well! There are some beautiful songs on this album that will twist every heart after a few glasses of wine! But it is very well written and an enjoyable album. Worth a listen and breaking new ground! Good work!!!

The way she perceives life and navigates through it, sharing all her experiences she's had since the start of her career till date poetically through the perspective of the fictitious characters she has created is commendable. It's one thing to feel the music, but it's another thing entirely for it to become a part of our being, to flow as freely through us as blood. The way she captured her raw emotions and painted it on the canvas embellished with beautifully crafted song writing accompanied with minimalist acoustically driven music and really simple yet refined, passionate and mature vocals is transcendental. She yet again proved to us that is undoubtedly one of the greatest lyricist of our generation. This album is one of the most cohesive piece of art she's ever created. It takes you on a journey to a whole new dimension and in the end, it ends on a good note, it's the retelling of forgotten tales, the sadness and pain of heartbreak, the happy and more authentic or in other words realistic side of love, it's everything wrapped in this delicate paper covered in sparkles. It cleanses your soul. And as Pericles had said, "what you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others." Thank you "Taylor Alison Swift" for gracing our lives with this timeless and evergreen piece of art during this dark filled with uncertainty period that we're the entire world is going through. I'm sure that this album will bring sunshine in the lives of billions and will give them strength to rise again.

    Great album with incredible storytelling, sweet vocals, and comforting production. Though some songs can feel repetitive at times, it’s still so relaxing to listen to.

    this album is pure art. she constantly sets the bar so high it’s unbelievable. she’s just on a whole other level. this album is so deep and vulnerable and meaningful and I’m so grateful to her for being so brave and honest and I literally love her so much.

    I can listen to this album over and over without getting sick of it. It is amazingly well-written and invokes a sense of aching nostalgia that makes me feel grateful for my life and where it got me to.     These 16 tracks (17 on the deluxe version) play out quite pleasurably in their entirety, the joins between Swift, Dessner and Antonoff ultimately only of niche interest. But Swift’s powerful songs reach their climaxes with bittersweet orchestrations, rather than blows to the solar plexus or a ringing in the ears. Everything hovers; little truly lands.
