While this set is not as immediate as their first two albums, Foolish Loving Spaces winds up being the one that is most rewarding after repeat listens, an enjoyable, nostalgic ode to pure affection. Coolness be damned.

Euphoric, danceable and smile inducing, this strong work is one of the purest and sweetest albums in a while, and from a band at the top of their game.

There's still an absence of real emotional heft, but it's hard not to be won over by Blossoms' relentless, effervescent cheeriness.

For the converts there’s enough familiarity and boundary pushing to justify continuing to invest in this band, right as they begin playing their first headline arena shows on their upcoming spring tour. But for the doubters and sceptics still on the fence, this album might prove even more enjoyable and surprising. Only a fool would deny themselves this collection of big pop bangers.

A young super-group who are growing at a fast pace, their third album is glorious, ambitious and fulfilling, and it can take the band to new places and...loving spaces.

A solid return for the Manchester band. Their sound is a real throwback & you can't help but dance along to this psych-pop album. Stand outA solid return for the Manchester band. Their sound is a real throwback & you can't help but dance along to this psych-pop album. Stand out tracks include The Keeper, Oh No (I Think I'm In Love With You), and also Your Girlfriend. A criticism, however, is the completely unneeded second disk with acoustic versions of each song... not needed when I'm shuffling the album! Full Review »
