May 29, 2020NAV has yet to improve on his formula and the album suffers greatly because of this. Tracks bleed together with little identity and hooks either fail to hit or are missing altogther.

Jun 3, 2020Pretty awful in every sense of the word. Rarely has a song infuriated me as much as "Brown Boy" did. If you haven't heard the track yet, which, for your own sake, I hope you haven't, brace yourseld. Because boy oh boy are you in for a ride.

Jun 18, 2020NAV's improved production and features do give the album some enjoyment at times, but overall his monotone delivery mixed with auto tune and no vocal inflections make him hard to listen to. And without an interesting theme or personality he embraces in his projects, its like listening to 50 minutes of a robot rapping over a decent trap instrumental.

Jul 15, 2023Fire album. This one is underrated. Has good reply value and it gets bonus points for nostalgia lmao

May 28, 2020Good Intentions is redeemed slightly by its incrementally improved production choices and impressive list of guest artists. The strongest songs on the lengthy album are those when NAV's juvenile lyrics and generic performances are enlivened by more talented artists dropping in to collaborate.

May 28, 2020In so far as 'vibes' and 'moods' become more important in hip-hop, Nav captures the feeling of boredom exceptionally well. Surrounding himself with hip-hop's most superficial, NAV somehow manages to represent even less.

May 28, 2020NAV’s biggest problem is that he doesn’t provide anything new with his music other than another generic serving of NAV.
