Guilty Pleasure is not satisfying. Ashley's voice lacks grit and edge. Most of the songs are boring because of the sick beat and rhythm that does not fit the rock genre. Although, Ashley is a real singer but the album lacks everything for its title.

she show everyone that she can sing but her voice not suit for rock. she should stick with her pretty pop-dance songs. this album is okay but not good.

Honestly, it's better than most albums churned out by Disney stars, but it still feels engineered, almost unorganic. It feels like her producers didn't bother to grace her with their best work, like she wasn't good enough for it. While she doesn't have Kelly Clarkson-huge pipes, her voice is still decent, maybe one more shot can finally prove that her music might not be so guilty a pleasure.

As melhores faixas do CD são Hair, Acting Out e Masquerade.

  1. Not everything works--Tisdale isn't convincing when she tries to deal in either pain or carnality, but when she sticks to the surface, she makes sure that Guilty Pleasure lives up to its title.
  2. At 24, though, she's still treading an overly familiar pop-rock trail already better blazed by 16-year-old Miley Cyrus, and Guilty Pleasure isn't so much pleasurable as simply vapid.
  3. Ms. Tisdale, an average singer, gasps on 'Hot Mess.' "I’m leaving every piece of my conscience behind." But being bad, it turns out, is sort of boring.
