Sep 8, 2023This time Olivia Rodrigo went so original that you can’t compare her songs with anyones. It kinda reminds of some rock artists, but still has one hundred percent of her personality. The personality of a girl teenager living thru love, fights, and the fears of real life.
-
Sep 8, 2023this album is so good. sour was already an amazing debut but she blew it out of the park with this record wow. album of the year in my opinion.
-
Sep 8, 2023I loved it sm, The Grudge and Get him back ate so hard even t'ho there are few songs i can't get behind overall it's really good
-
-
Sep 8, 2023This new album is definitely a step forward for Olivia, demonstrating her incredible ability to write, but above all to express emotions, Nigro's production is still the best, the use of each instrument is incredible, and Rodrigo's voice is the perfect complement for those melodies, without a doubt we are in front of the big promise of the music industry.

-
Sep 8, 2023It does not bring a new sound to the Olivia experience. Yes more punk yet it heavily remind names like Baby Queen, Avril Lavigne and Paramore. However it still has the nice narrative element which carries the album again. Overall it is good but nothing new.

Sep 9, 2023Olivia, you are so good. Every want to spank you and feel every word of you. GUTS is a beautiful-crafted album and fun to listen to.
-
Sep 8, 2023Impressive continuation of her previous work, you can see how mature the lyrics and production are and I think it is a very good construction to take adolescence as a metaphor for suffering.

Sep 8, 2023She shows her great talent!! But this album is honestly monochromatic (like her cover arts) it has not offered anything new or surprising, and in doing so shes repeated the same sound over and over. Lyric wise its great, it accomplishes a lot and the message gets across perfectly. I think the best songs on the album are get him back! And the grudge. Lyric-wise making the bed.
-
Sep 8, 2023This album is phenomenal. Each track bringing something new but also bringing in the old. Truly one of the best sophomore albums in recent times.
-
Sep 8, 2023Best album of this decade and i’m not even kidding. Thanks Olivia! My favorite songs of the album are pretty isn’t pretty, making the bed and all american b**tch

Sep 8, 2023This album is such a great sophomore comeback shows the natural growth and progression and sound of a developing artist having fun and taking risks. The vocals, production and lyrics make it worth the wait.
-
Sep 8, 2023It is a 10! rhe way she is able to do different styles os music with perfection is amazing!
-

Sep 8, 2023this album is soo good, Olivia became from teen angsty heartbroken to a rockstar itself. This album empowerment, and the lyrics she made, the rage and the rebel of her voice in this album is amazing. Olivia is def an ARTist.

Sep 8, 2023Almost a parallel to Sour, it's a good album with some great tracks (The two singles, All American..., Logical). Once again another album which will deservedly receive praise, but it's not a masterpiece and nobody will call this album a magnum opus. Her time will come though.
-
Sep 8, 2023It's just meh on the best of days. I don't know what struck the metacritics, it's just bleh.

-
Sep 8, 2023This album was a beautiful and complex experience. She outdid herself to the extreme. Love love love.
-
Sep 8, 2023I love the sound of this album. I gives you early 2000s vibes that we rarely hear now a days.

Sep 9, 2023Absolutely loved this new album! It perfectly captures the experience of growing up as a teenager in their twenties. Miss Olivia you have done it again !

Sep 9, 2023I’m not really a fan of her music, but this album is better than sour in my opinion. Her voice is good and most of the songs are kinda catchy but I don’t really like the preppy and rebel atmosphere behind this album. However i think she made something better for her second album and she really chose the last song well about growing up and getting old as the album’s closure
-
Sep 9, 2023great album! best folw up for sour. it is good. the best. great album! best folw up for sour. it is good. the best. great album! best folw up for sour. it is good. the best.
-
Sep 9, 2023not great, not bad. Has boring songs to listen and many of these is overrated. I Dont like the track called the grudge, the rest is ok and has a perfect track "making the bed" but this track can't save the album
-
Sep 9, 2023Excellent album with incredible and varied songs, it undoubtedly shows us the personal and lyrical evolution of Olivia Rodrigo, incredible second album

-
Sep 10, 2023The songwriting in this album was childish and immature. I listened to the entire album several times to see if it would grow on me but none of the songs are memorable. They have no distinctive sound, they are all just loud. The only song that stands out is Lacy.
-
Sep 11, 2023GUTS realmente é o melhor álbum do ano.
-
Sep 8, 2023The rollercoaster of emotions while listening to GUTS is insane. She was able to capture the struggles and troubles of a 19/20 y/o while keeping it relatable to both the younger and older generations. This is a level up from her debut album so i'm giving it a perfect 10!
-
Sep 8, 2023yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss álbum of the year old nem amo viu
-
Sep 8, 2023A teen angst album with a manufactured storyline we’ve hear before over and over again with music that sounds like it belongs to Avril Lavigne in the early 2000’s.
-
Sep 8, 2023literally best 2023 album so far. i'm stoked with olivia, she's really done it AGAIN and I thought nothing could be better than SOUR or express teen angst better than that. so good!
-
Sep 8, 2023this album is truly a masterpiece.
I love how she's got the pop, punk and rock influence to it. It's something everyone can enjoy! -
Sep 8, 2023such a perfect sophomore album, olivia really did it again and exceeded allmy expectations
-
Sep 8, 2023GUTS is such a great album, you get to see olivia's evolution and how she has matured, the album captures so well what it's like to be 19

-
Sep 8, 2023This is the best album I have ever heard. Such an incredible mixes of styles, incredible vocals and sound. Pure perfection I have nothing to add.
-
Sep 8, 2023she does it again! guts is a step up from sour. it's not that different, just 10 times more rock/punk. great balance between ballads and upbeat songs.
-
-
Sep 8, 2023
-
Sep 8, 2023fun, authentic, maybe too many ballads, but it's just my taste, they are completly fine and likable :)
-
Sep 8, 2023The vibes are the confessions of a teenage drama queen, punk acid anthems for sad girls & gays going through menstrual cramps, acne breakouts, SATs, and bullying all at once. Moreover, it gives borderline suicidal instrumentation f×××× up high school pop catfights melancholia. A lot of diaristic hormonal imbalance hooks ala Avril/Duff combo. Amazing comeback!
-
Sep 8, 2023Zero skips. Perfectly crafted and Get Him Back is just so good! I’m vibin’

Sep 8, 2023Her lyricism really improves a lot as compared to sour as well as the production. I'm sure her next tour will be amazing and i can't wait to take my sister with me and have the time of our lives!

Sep 8, 2023OLIVIA RODRIGO GIRLLL YOU DID IT AGAIN!!!!! what an amazing album. 10 10 10's across the BOARD. The evolution in the production, in the songwriting, the control she has of her voice now. i love it!!

-
Sep 8, 2023the best album of olivia and of the year 1000/10 she ended taylor with this album
-
Sep 8, 2023Olivia Rodrigo is one of the most exciting things in pop music right Joe’s She has elevated her material since the debut album without changing direction completely. This is one of the best follow up albums ever and was always going to be difficult to compete with such a successful first era. Olivia’s contemporaries should be worried, next stop - album of the year at the Grammys.
-
Sep 9, 2023It’s fairly enjoyable. It has a few that I could listen more then once and put in a playlist but it feels kind of top heavy I enjoyed the first few tracks far more then the latter half overall not bad I could rate those few songs individually as 7s or 8s but as a whole with the songs I don’t prefer as much a 6 feed right.
-
Sep 8, 2023Concise lyricism and a committed/confident sound make this a fun and authentic album. Olivia knows what she’s doing with her vocals and is showing growth in both her sound and her maturity lyrically.
-
Sep 8, 2023it was alright nothing special, no song really stands out and there are quite a few fillers
-
Sep 9, 2023Sell out hollywood slop. I got tricked into listening to this, I just spent the time trying to understand what they were trying to package and sell with this sound. It certainly doesn't sound like a real person or personality created this, it's probably all the usual Swedish women or Antonoff on the credits.
-
Sep 8, 2023Mixed bag. Some songs are so innovative like 'ballad of a homeschooled girl' and 'the grudge'. But other songs, she tries too hard to sound like Avril Lavigne. It's not that it's bad, it's just forgettable.
-
Sep 8, 2023Olivia is someone doesn't really do it for me, I don't hate her songs but I also don't love them they're kind of just...there. I did like all american **** though, and bad idea right was also cute.
-
Sep 8, 2023The reviews for this album need to be serious. This album is so boring, I felt like she could do much better.
-
Sep 8, 2023It's got less hits than Sour, so it seems like a less memorable version of that. Go ahead and pass on this album.
-
Sep 8, 2023Olivia should find her artistic identity. this album looks like a set of songs rejected by Levine and Gracie Abrams. The lyrics aren't good enough and Sour is better. The vocals are not on point
-
Sep 8, 2023This is the sound of a girl fully embracing her teen angst, but it is at a cost of repetitive tones and themes used throughout her intriguing and inviting sophomore album.
-
Sep 8, 2023Was really excited for guts as I loved sour, vampire and bad idea right are bangers obviously but all the new album tracks didn’t vibe with me, only ones I somewhat liked is lacy and teenage dream. Some tracks it was hard to even understand what she was saying. Definitely gunna keep listening and see if it grows on me but for now sour is still better
-
Sep 8, 2023Not my cup of tea, sorry. There are a few good ones but the vibe over all isnt for me.
-
Sep 9, 2023The vast majority of songs are good and catchy but it is still not very innovative, I would say it is only a little worse than their first work.
-
Sep 8, 2023more of the same! looks like discard of sour.
Olivia hasn't had any musical maturity here, she insists on writing songs about relationships. -
Sep 8, 2023Boring, this didn’t bring anything that we haven’t seen already. There is no wow factor. It just seems like she didn’t put any effort on this
-
Sep 8, 2023omg a very bad album, I expected better but this is just straight up disappointment, I as a head livie cannot accept this, everything about this album is mid, only 3 - 4 listenable songs, the rest are just trash to your ears

Sep 18, 2023“Teenage Dream” recycles a song title of Katy Perry’s and echoes a twisty-turny melody of Lana Del Rey’s. Yet Rodrigo’s emotional presence is so strong throughout “Guts” — so believable even at its most unrelatable — that you never lose the sense of a specific young person navigating a trial of her own making.
-
Sep 15, 2023GUTS is emphatic proof that Rodrigo isn't just good for a kid -- she's grown into an artist with plenty of things to say, and the confidence and eloquence to say them her way.
-
Sep 13, 2023These songs show that Rodrigo isn’t done after GUTS.
