Niall Horan is an underrated musician. This album is so perfect, the lyrics and the different songs that are there.. it tells a story, its a whole album. I feel bad that the release date was the same as the pandemic because it deserved so much more. Niall is an amazing songwriter and singer, hoping to hear more from him soon

Horan has escalated my expectations with this album. Saddening that I found it so late. He's definitely outperformed his first solo album in every sense- lyrically, vocally, the creativity. Not only this but he's also outperformed his ex-bandmates (the other two that are still relevant).

This album is a stepback from his debut. Sounds like an average One Direction album, maybe it's because he worked with his One Direction collaborator. It seems like he desperately wanted to make hits but failed. He should stick to acoustic folk-pop songs.

This album showcases the many different aspects of a breakup and has an clear storyline. The songs range from ballads to uptempo pop songs, and shows off Niall's versatility and vocal range. This is definitely one of his best works yet!!

Poor production, poorer lyrics and too boring. Also it looks like his vocal ability has started to diminish.

This album is really my favorite of Niall Horan, there are people who will say that it is basic and boring, but it is not about listening and coming to the conclusion that the album is boring, the songs have to be enjoyed and their lyrics analyzed. depth. Songs like "Arms of a Stranger", "Still" and "New Angel" are perfect and elevate the quality of the album.

Tiene maravillosas canciones que te llevan a una montaña de emociones. Cuenta una historia acerca del inicio de una relación y el fin de esta. Uno de los mejores trabajos de Niall, lastima que lo tengan tan devaluado.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Heartbreak weather is an excellent album. It creates an entire context and atmosphere of what a heartbreak looks/feels like. The name of the album already introduces that idea. Heartbreak weather symbolizes the mix of emotions involved and Niall, through the album, approaches the subject from many different perspectives. Tracks like new angel and arms of a stranger talk about the getting over phase while tracks like black and white and nice to meet ya show the excitement and even a little inocence from when you are on a good place in yout relationship. Those changes of point of view make the album fun and dynamic. In terms of lyrics the album is also amazing, as we can see, for example, in dear patience, where Niall personificates a feeling and has a conversation with it in an extraordinary well written song. Basically, Niall is a storyteller and he does it very well: with a clear concept, he is really able to emerse the listeners into the situations he talks about and that´s what makes the album so involving. My only reservation is about the linearity of the story, wich I think could have been better done. Despite the concept is very clear, the sense of time, cause and consequence can be a little lost, wich could easily be fixed just by changing the order of some songs like no judgement, that would make more sense in the beginning of the album than in the end since the start with black and white (the song heartbreak weather is more like a presentation of the concept) expresses the joy while the relationship is good and the end with still symbolizes the melancoly of admitng that getting over is hard. Summarizing, heartbreak weather is an outstanding involving album and Niall is definitely in a better place as a solo artist than he has ever been. Hope to hear more from him soon and excited about what is coming next. Expand

Heartbreak Weather is an incredible album with no skips! Is a very eclectic album, which will please all tastes. The central idea of narrating your amorous misadventures using the mood is incredible, and we can identify that in each song. And Niall's voice is perfect!

After all the sentimental rigamarole, it’s tough to come away from Heartbreak Weather feeling any closer to Horan. He spends too much of the record bouncing between sounds and songwriting concepts to feel distinct.

There are hints of experimentation, such as Nice to Meet Ya’s swaggering hybrid of Arctic Monkeys and Kasabian, but it’s the excellent title track’s flirtation with glossy, synth-tinged MOR that suggests where Horan might be headed next. Proof that it’s often the quiet ones you need to keep an eye on.
